This is a culinary experience not a typical restaurant. First off the cave is amazing. The owner is very nice and the food is delicious. To start do not expect fast service it's not about eat and run. There are only a three choices of meat to add to your meal. But the escargot is sooo good. All the meals are served with the same courses which does also include wine, water (rare for France) and dessert. All the courses of food are unlimited. That’s fine to start with but when every single course on one of their virtually identical set menus comes out as a variation on their ‘special bread’ you start to wonder whether potatoes or rice or pasta would somehow perish in the cave?!
So, three courses in and looking forward to a dessert that had better not be bread and fricking butter pudding or I might be driven to violence and, guess what, they’re serving me bread and cheese. Noooooooo!

The owner was engaging, instructive, and oh so hilarious!! Our whole group absolutely loved the cave tour and the restaurant. The food was excellent.
