Beautiful location and so peaceful and relaxed.. I arrived late evening and checked in with ease.. the young lady was very friendly and welcoming.. The room was very comfortable with a range of facilities.. Comfortable bed..large bathroom with a bath+shower but unfortunately not a plug for the bath so only able to use the shower.. TV.. tea and coffee making facilities..no milk.. just asked the lady at reception and she happily brought some from the kitchen.. Indoor swimming pool.. On site restaurant We enjoyed our stay and slept well.. Only criticism is the noise of the guests going to the nearby rooms banging the door late at night.. Didn't opt for breakfast but looked very nice and the dinning area was big enough to accommodate all.. Policy is to pay for your stay on the day of departure..we were a little shocked when we were asked to pay for meals at the restaurant we hadn't had... soon rectified and told it was a mistake.. But despite one or two criticisms we would love to return in...

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The price was very reasonable and absolutely worth it. Breakfast was a real very good , with excellent quality and lots of fresh, local products, the cheeses in particular were outstanding. The rooms were spotless, and both the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I also loved the small balconies, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms had everything you need for a comfortable visit.

The staff were consistently polite and always ready to help. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked very inviting. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful location in the middle of the forest, although it’s not the easiest to reach without a car or private transport. We didn’t try the hotel’s restaurant, but the village nearby had some fantastic and very reasonably priced places to eat.

Achtung, Touristenfalle! Restaurant: Das Restaurant ist völlig überteuert: Für einen trockenen, einfallslosen, pappeartigen Vorspeisen-Salat bezahlten wir je 13 €. Es gab auf der Karte kein einziges vegetarisches Gericht. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir lieblose und komplett geschmacklose Nudeln mit Ratatouille, inklusive unnötigem Kommentar "2 Portionen Fleisch für die Vegetarier, haha." Für je 20 €. Nachtisch: geschmacksneutrale Tarte. (Die genannten Preise gelten einheitlich für alle Gerichte.) Die beiden Kellner machten Pause vor dem Restaurant und überließen die wartenden Gäste sich selbst. Die Sonne blendete uns in die Augen, aber der Sonnenschirm wurde extra von uns weg gedreht, weil der Kellner im Vorbeigehen den Sonnenschirm eventuell mit dem Kopf gestreift hätte, was für ihn inakzeptabel war. Als ich mich über diese Sachen bei der Rezeption beschwerte, wurde ich aggressiv und arrogant abgewiesen: ich hätte kein Recht, die 30-jährige Gastronomie-Erfahrung des Hauses zu kritisieren. Kein Bedauern und kein Interesse an der Problematik oder Details. So will ich als Kund:in nicht behandelt werden, wenn ich gerade teuer ausgenommen wurde. Wir sind seit Tagen in der Region unterwegs und sehr reise-/gastronomie-erfahren und haben sehr wohl ein Gespür für ein angebrachtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Serviceleistungen.

Hotel Die Duschen der "Classique"-Zimmer, wie auch die Duschen im Schwimmbad sind schmuddelig und renovierungsbedürftig. Beim Frühstück wurde ungenießbarer halbgefrorener Dosenobst-Salat gereicht. Einige Kaffeetassen waren nicht sauber, sondern mit angetrockneten Spülmaschinen-Resten darin. Nachmittags fragten wir an der Hotelbar nach einem Stück Kuchen: Antwort: "nein, hier gibt es nichts zu essen." Zwei Stunden später servierte derselbe Kellner drei verschiedene Kuchen zum Abendessen. Kein Entgegenkommen für hungrige, zahlungskräftige Gäste.
