The service was exceptionally good: friendly, understanding (my wife is allergic to celery and they provided a list where all the dishes are cross referenced to the menu with numbers showing what might be allergenic) and relaxed, especially when we asked if we could change the proposed fix menus, and add something like a salad. This, of course, was not only accepted but duly adjusted when the bill came, and we ended up paying less for a service à la carte. The food was very good (filets de perche and féra), side dishes delicious, wine perfect at a more than decent price, shared crême brulée a perfect dessert and coffee almost as good as in Italy. The scenery in itself is worth the visit, and the quiet in the evening a plus, even if the place was full. The prices were below what we expected, as mentioned above. Perfect seems a nice word to describe...

In winter, there's no other good restaurant within walking distance, so it's a 5 min drive to Sciez or Yvoire.||Would go back just for the views/surrounding. ||I was going to add a photo of the sunrise in Autumn, with the fog on the lake, sun behind the mountains... but the photo really doesn't...
