Location||A real ski in ski out hotel with ski hire shop and lift pass office a few minutes walk away making it a perfect location. The town is a 5 minute drive down the mountain, there is also a free bus running every half hour and the Chavannes telecabin between 9&5 for walkers and skiers.||There are many walking paths including a good 40 minute walk to the top of the Morzine Pleney telecabin.||The hotel has a warm boot/ski room and a seating area in the garage to use when putting your boots on.||Hotel facilities||The bedrooms have plenty of hanging and storage space, some have balconies. The bathrooms with bath have powerful showers although no screen or curtain. Toiletries are provided although they weren’t topped up automatically.||The food especially the evening meals were excellent with a mixture of local specialities and exquisitely presented 4 course Michelin star style meals. In the Winter you probably need a jumper in the restaurant area til it warms up.||The staff were friendly, relaxed but attentive. Read moreVery rude service, waiter threw the bread basket onto our table, huffed when all we wanted to drink was water as we don't drink very much other than water, spaghetti bolognese had no mince and we are fairly sure it was quorn mince but nothing said it was a vegetarian option, no flavour, no mushrooms or tomatoes as you would normally find, pasta was half cooked, the speed ours came out compared to everyone else's it must have been microwaved as it wasn't piping hot, no where near enough enough bolognese for the amount of spaghetti. Both myself and my wife have had dodgy stomachs since then and I have a cast iron gut but I know quorn upsets me. I had to add sachets of ketchup and mustard to get any flavour into the food, which I very rarely do. All this for 15 euros each. I wouldn't have paid 1.50 each if I had the choice.
