La Ripaille — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

My review is not food related. My husband and I got extremely lost on the slopes on opening day coming from Swiss and ending up stuck over on the France side of Portes du Soleil as most of the lifts had not even opened yet due to weather. We ended up in Châtel at the end of the ski day with no way to get back to Switzerland. We walked around for a good while in the center until we found an air BNB which we walked over 30 minutes to find with just our boards and snowboard equipment on us. Feeling very defeated after not being able to find this AirBNB we stumbled into La Ripaille totally lost and scared. A very nice lady whose name we did not get was so helpful and sweet to us. She helped us find somewhere to stay and then even better a cab that was willing to take us back to our current accommodations in Switzerland which we could not be more grateful and thankful for her kind heart. If you have the chance to stop by this establishment I guarantee you will have the friendliest...

Aceuil désagréable Patron des lieu Bourré réponses vraiment nul Manière de proposer les horaires et les plats d'une manière qui ne convient vraiment pas à "Chatel" J'ai pour habitude de donner mes avis avec équité et en étant neutre mais la sincèrement c'est limite si il n'insulte pas les clients

Aucun savoir parlé A nôtre arrivée il etait derrière son bar entrain de picoler (bien à lui ma foi) mais quand on travail et que l'on accueil du public on reste sobre cher Mr désagréable...

Les végétariens je vous déconseille encore plus ... Je vous déconseille très fortement d'aller à cet endroit là Et au passage, on lui dit que nous aimerions, dans le soit disant menu, un plat sans viande rouge sans porc, il nous répond : "Ce n'est pas mon problème j'en ai rien à f.." Vraiment le pire des individus Dans le pire des lieu que j'ai pu visiter de ma vie.

Son bar est dans son restaurant et honnêtement sa pu le moisi et l'alcool sans parler des mouches qui sont autour de son bar souillé par la bière et le vin

HORRIBLE... Un grand ZERO pour cet endroit. Honte à vous car vous êtes situé sur un lieu de passage touristique !! Vous ne devriez même pas être ouvert

Et dernière info, je sais très bien comment répondre au genre de personnage que vous êtes cher Mr Pierre, mais l'âge que vous avez fait que je ne peux pas, mais vous mérité vraiment une fermeture de votre lieu de part votre manière de parler et le fait que vous soyez complètement ignoble en tout point.

Allez hop c'est fait 😊😊 Pour ceux qui recherche des endroit super sympa dans les alentours de chatel pour manger proprement avec un aceuil et du personnel agréable n'hésitez pas je vous répondrais...

Very frosty welcome as we hadn't booked.. blew their minds but after requesting a table for 6 in the empty restaurant they allowed us in !!!
