L'Assiette — Restaurant in Toulon

Leider etwas enttäuschend. Essen war okay, aber leider nicht wirklich gut. Wir hatten zur Vorspeise Tomatensuppe (war gut) und Sardine mit Birne, Pesto, Paprika und sehr viel Sauce. So viele verschiedene Geschmäcker muss man richtig gut können, damit das funktioniert. Hier wäre was einfacheres sicherlich besser gewesen. So war es nur mittelmäßig. Bei den Hauptspeisen war es ähnlich (Pasta mit Käse gefüllt, Thunfisch mit Kartoffelbrei) war ok, etwas lahm und nicht wirklich richtig gut oder originell. Wein fand ich jetzt auch nicht so aufregend. Die Bedienung war nett. Allerdings mussten wir recht lange auf unseren Hauptgang warten. Das Ambiente ist schön, macht aber das Essen nicht wett. Ich persönlich brauche auch keine Musikbeschallung ( von Bob Marley bis Macarena war alles dabei). Und ich fand es auch recht laut. Das lag sicherlich auch an der größeren Gruppe von Amerikanern hinter uns. Dazu die Musik - da haben alle lauter gesprochen.

Ich hatte auch den Eindruck, dass nicht so recht klar ist, was die Location sein will: wine tasting, Bar oder Restaurant? So ist es jedenfalls nicht ganz ausgereift.
