Gorgeous food, stunning views, and wonderful service. La Rastègue is one of the culinary jewels of the area, and our family have dined here several times across the years. The beautifully crafted seasonal menus showcase the freshest local ingredients: swordfish, John Dory, olives, aubergine, chèvre, etc. (We are seasoned olive-eaters and have never tasted anything quite like these!)

Jérôme is a gifted chef with a talent for creating elegant, rustic Provençal dishes. His wife Patricia provides a very warm, attentive accueil to all diners, making the entire dining experience a delight. Their son is also a charming and helpful little gentleman!

The terrace views across the Riviera hillside are stunning at sunset, and make for a perfect romantic dinner or sophisticated family meal. The wine selection is also excellent, complementing the subtle flavours of the food.

La Rastègue is popular for a reason - so it’s important to book a few weeks in advance as they only serve c.20 guests a night. It’s well...

The Rastegue is an absolutely superb restaurant where my partner and I recently passed a memorable evening, enjoying fantastic food while looking out towards the waters of the distant bay as the sun set. The menu is a starightforward set affair, although one that can be tailored to the dietary preferences of diners. The cooking is memorable and a hugely enjoyable interpretation of Provençal cuisine with the warmth and professionalism of the hospitality adding to making our visit an unforgettable one. It was surprising that such a small team could deliver such quality to the whole restaurant, although the too rare policy of having only one sitting at each table (allowing us to fully and relaxedly enjoy the meal, the wine, the view and the hospitality) no doubt helped.

The Rastegue is one of those restaurants that makes the visit to a place memorable and it is a restaurant that I look forward to being able to return to when we are in this...

Unfortunate to have been turned away from this restaurant after traveling halfway round the world just to find out that our reservation had been ‘cancelled’. Clearly the manager made a mistake and claimed that I called a week earlier to cancel (which was not true). I didn’t receive any phone call or text for a restaurant confirmation too. The manager didn’t offer any suggestions for us to eat around the area and we left without any food to eat. Regretful to have even considered this restaurant since the manager who ought to know how to manage a restaurant left us with a terrible experience....

Nice restaurant, good food and excellent service. The whole fixed menu thing is quite restrictive... Even though I checked the menu in advance, on the night I was not in the mood for the kind of meat they were serving. No one’s fault really. Dining on the terrace was beautiful but the seats were super uncomfortable on the back and fans would have been nice during the heatwave. I give this place 3.5 stars.

Amazing dining experience. Everything was top notch. Beautiful space and view, incredibly clean and well run. The drinks, wine and food were fantastic! Wonderful couple that run the restaurant - he in the kitchen and she running the front of the house with wonderful service. Can't recommend highly enough!
