I happened upon this gem of a restaurant after finding out that I couldn’t be seated at my planned dinner choice due to reservation requirements. I was disappointed, tired from looking for a new restaurant and a bit low.
Finding this restaurant changed all of that; it made my night better and brought me true joy.
The meal was excellent. I had a Veal Tartare that was salted to perfection. The wine choices by the glass were also on point. My travel companion ordered a Milanese Steak and it was both large and delicious. We had two delicious and beautiful desserts to follow our main course. We combined these with two digestifs, Limoncello and Cognac. Both were perfect pairings with the desserts.
Above all was the service. Our server was genial, kind and spoke great English when we had issues with our French. He had excellent recommendations for what to eat and pair with wine. He offered to take a photo of us, which was a kind gesture. He was genuinely curious about where we came from and who we are without being overly invasive.
This discovery was one of the highlights of our short trip in Toulon and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a taste for beef-centric cuisine. I hear the pizzas are also great, but I didn’t have any. While I am not a huge beef lover, this meal hit...
Read moreMy friend and I stayed at an Airbnb in the area and had a late l’apéro. We couldn’t find a place to eat dinner so late afterward. After walking around the city for a bit, we came across this restaurant and couldn’t have been luckier. Thankfully, they were open a little later than other places in the area and could seat us right away. The place was buzzing with upbeat energy, great service and had fantastic food. Although I was too busy enjoying my courses and wine to snap photos, I recommend the veal or the beef tartar (which my friend ordered). Overall, I would highly recommend...
Service assez long donc. Assez déçu pour résumer ce repas, de...
