Le petit Collo — Restaurant in Toulon

I’m honestly really confused as to how they have 4.7 stars on Google and 5 on Facebook… I had very high hopes when we stopped here for lunch and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. We had the what appears to be their biggest hit, the burger, (one woman even went to say that it was the top 10 best burger she ever had and to that I say that I’m truly sorry for her). It was frozen and even worse, unseasoned - literally the empty box of frozen burger patties was sitting on the floor of the dining room. The only flavor was the obscene amount of grease (crying). There was so much grease that the bun (presumably frozen) was completely saturated. I’m confident that the fries were the only thing they actually made and they weren’t even properly fried. The saddest thing about the whole experience was that we were so hungry and exhausted that we actually ate it and then both threw up on the way home after. I truly, honest to god, have no idea how they have such good reviews but I feel like someone really needs to be honest. My boyfriend was so embarrassed about the quality of the restaurant that he apologized to me. So, if low-quality and previously frozen is your thing (yes, your steak and fancy truffle ravioli are frozen), then by all means go here. If you prefer quality, fresh, ingredients, find somewhere else to go. This place is for someone who wants an overpriced, fast food, fresh-from-the-freezer meal. I’m really sad that I ate it. Nous sommes venus en famille passer quelques jours à Collobrières. Nous avons choisi Le petit Collo pour manger un midi. Et Wahou quelle bonne expérience. L'accueil, le repas, le cadre...Tout a été parfait. Les Raviolis aux truffes sont à tomber par terre, un véritable délice. Le burger frites pareil, les frites sont vraiment très bonnes. La qualité des produits est vraiment superbe. Nous y sommes donc retournés le lendemain midi. Et une seconde fois tout a été parfait. Les deux serveurs que nous avons eu sont vraiment très sympas et avenants avec les enfants. Nous reviendrons...

Je sors tout juste du restaurant et ce fut une très agréable surprise. Ne vous arrêtez pas sur votre première impression allez-y jusqu'au bout et vous verrez. La planche de charcuterie est de très très bonne qualité. Puis nous avons pris une cuisse de canard confite ainsi qu'une entrecôte. La cuisse était celle que nous voulions, les frites faites maisons très très bonnes. Tout était bien fait. Le service est fait grâce à un super serveur. Et le cuisinier est au top (dans sa cuisine).
