This was a fantastic place to enjoy lunch between arrival and departure on Le Mastrou train. The hotel is very welcoming and the dining room was busy with locals as well as train travellers. The staff were very attentive and the meal (plat du jour et dessert) was excellent (quality and quantity). Highly recommended!

J'ai mangé hier midi au restaurant de l'Hôtel des Négociants avec mes parents et nous nous sommes régalés 😃 À l'apéritif, en plus de nos boissons nous avons eu droit à des chips faites maison que nous avons beaucoup appréciées. Nous avons ensuite choisi le menu à 28€ avec en entrées la salade mixte pour mes parents et l'assiette de charcuterie ardéchoise pour moi. En ce qui concerne les plats, mes parents sont partis sur le dos de merlu alors que de mon côté j'ai préféré le poulet sauce écrevisses. Ils était accompagnés d'une part de crique ainsi que de petits légumes (courgettes, carottes). Enfin, pour les desserts, mon père a pris le fromage blanc à la crème de marron, ma mère le cèpe à la glace marron (très original ! 😉) et moi la coupe ardéchoise. Les assiettes étaient bien garnies et tout était délicieux. Très bon accueil, un service impeccable et peu d'attente entre chaque plat : c'était vraiment top ! Je recommande fortement 😊👍

Great little country hotel. Close to town centre. And Train de l’Ardèche. A good base for local exploration and hiking etc. Everything is very clean. Staff are all friendly. Food is good. Loved the pool on hot days. One suggestion: offer fans for the rooms when it is very hot.

I had to visit Lamastre on business and picked this hotel a website. It was a good choice. My room was large, very well fitted with en suite shower and plenty of space. It had obviously been recently decorated. In the room there was a television and free Wifi as well as a telephone, a table and easy chairs. The room was spotless. The reception was very kind and helpful. I swam in the hotel pool which was delightful and refreshing after a long journey. I didn't eat dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was great and the cherry jam so delicious. For a small two star hotel this was extremely good. I wish I could have stayed longer. It would be a great base from which to...

1,5 hours waiting/ Unpolite Service We are a family with 2 small kids, 5 and 8 years old. Though we had not booked a table we were offered 1 table for lunch. We ordered Kids and adults menus. We got the Entree quite quickly but had to wait for 1,5 Hours approx for main course. We asked why it was like this and the lady serving us told us in rude manner that we had not booked and we had to wait.

Once main course was served we asked her for ketchup for kids and maybe because she noticed that we were not happy she lied us saying that ketchup was finished.

So not happy at all and would not recommend this place in Lamastre. Food was...
