A very special experience. The waiter was a bit social with the guests - causing the order for dinner to be delayed for about 90 min. But when we finally got to order with him the dinner was simple, local and wonderfull. The interior of the restaurant was reflected by the owners desire for elephants. But the delay in the ordering gave us the opportunity to talk to some of the other guests - which was also a very nice experience. Finally asking for the bill - the waiter asked us again what we had ordered, but it was done in a very polite and nice way and the overall experience is good. Once this small restaurant was a shabby viet place. Now a young couple made it into a nice pleasant welcoming fascinating country restaurant. We enjoyed dinner into a small garden on the top of the hill, amongst ancient houses. We can say that some of them could be better kept,but this is a small minus,not depending on restaurant owners. Thanks to our stay and recommendation by Madam Poli our family dined here and were pleasantly surprised at such fresh, delightful food and service. We went with our pooch.
