The B&B hotel in vannes is a typical budget hotel. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean. |There is plenty of parking available and they close the parking at night which feels safe.||Unfortunately the hotel is not in a quiet area. There is a busy road nearby and across of the hotel there is a metro whole sale store. The alarm of the store went of at night. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel but it went on for hours and it was annoying. From 5 am on weekdays big trucks arrive to deliver goods. Many of the truck drivers leave their engines running so it’s noisy. To keep the noise out I closed the window and switched on the airconditioning. The a/c didn’t cool down or worked properly so it became very hot and stuffy in the room. Not a good night sleep.||If you get allocated to a room NOT facing the wholesale store I think the hotel is ok for an...

If you are in Bretagne France, try to visit Vannes. A small city with a beautiful old style wood structure multi story houses in the downtown. This hotel is located just before the city ring. Near Metro super store. Built like USA style motels. Enter the property, parking on all four sides of building. Easy and enough free parking. Ground and first floor with stairs. Good clean room with double bed, AC and toilet shower is inside. Good price for the facility. You can walk to the downtown in 40 minutes or just drive to the port underground parking.
