Auberge Sainte Catherine — Restaurant in Vendôme

7 years later. Not going to this restaurant again. As a starter I had the Fois Grass of Duck. That was really fatty. Like eating a slice of butter. The bread served at the side was dry, hard and chewy.

I had the meat of the moment. My friend had the burger. I wanted it medium. My friend well done. Both were raw and cold. They took both dishes back and when we received them back, everything was warm. Even the plates. Did they just microwave it? Not sure but looked like it. The meat was just over medium and a little chewy, but okay. Not very seasond.

My dish had a small tower of rice, wich was blant and fatty. No further side dishes. No vegetables. Not even some fries. (With my dish!)

Desert was okay. But the 'coffee' icecream was more like caramel.

Service was okay. The ladies were friendly and correct. But you work in a pretty touristic little town. Knowing at least some basic english would be nice. But whe managed.

Le cadre très agréable.. Mais la cuisine n'était pas a la hauteur du cadre.. Cheveux ou poils dans l'assiette... Le viande commandé du bœuf était dur.. Remarque faite à la serveuse de changer de boucher.. Les frites étaient presque noir et très amer.. Paraît il normal pour la serveuse en me prient de mettrent de la moutarde ou du kechop pour effacer le goût.. Jamais vu des frites ainsi même chez mcdo.. Arrivée au comptoir demander de voire le patron qui tournais en rond dans l'arrière salle.. Refus de me voire.. Et surtout de nous éviter a table.. S'abreuvant des éloges a des grandes tablées plus lucratives... Dommage..

Ps après votre réponse je confirme mon commentaire.. Je vois que malheureusement je ne suis pas le seul de mauvaise foi au vu des autres commentaires .. Vos réponses acerbes envers la clientèle déçues .. Démontre l'image de votre sincerite.. Et l'écoute des critiques fondés.. Tout cela vol bien bas..personnes n'est venus lors de mes réclamations dans votre restaurant .. J'étais sur place et non caché derrière un écran... Vos mots a un client déçu lui aussi... Oublie ( les poils ou cheveux nous n'avons jamais dit dans l'écrit qu'ils étaient bruns) le menteur vous...
