Le Four à Bois — Restaurant in Vire

Terrible terrible terrible. It's such a shame that this is one of very few places to eat in Vire. But avoid it. It has recently changed management apparently. They call themselves a pizza place... The pizzas were awful! Half burnt and covered in cheap baked cheese which left them tasting horrible. No mozzarella on any of them like a normal pizza! Then came the lattes... 3 luke warm lattes which when we pointed out were cold were MICROWAVED for us... no 'oh sorry I'll make them again!' Sacre bleu!...

Came down on a warm summer's evening and sat outside on the terrace. Although it's next to the road, the road noise is not obtrusive at all. The pizzas were very nice indeed! A good amount of topping, on a nice tasty base, just right - not too thick, not too thin. Pizzas come in 3 sizes; the smallest (simple) being a proper normal-sized pizza, so the medium and large must be massive!! The ice-cream desserts are also pretty big too, so definitely value for money here! Good service too - we'll...

A fantastic pizzeria located in Vire, easy to find and even accommodated for our dog! We have eaten several times here during our holiday, and found something for everyone on the menu, and the quality lived up to expectations, amazing value for money. Our waitress spoke fluent English and was able to help us all evening, a super host. Would recommend to anyone passing...
