There was an overwhelming amount of food!! We had enough food for six and there was only the two of us! The owner/manager loves to talk and is a show in of itself! But the meal, wow, first this huge tureen of vegetables in a incredibly spiced broth came out along with a huge bowl of couscous. That was delicious mixed with the couscous. Then came our main dishes which was a mutton shoulder with so much tender meat and a chicken, each dish had sausages and meatballs. The meatballs and the mutton was the best. There wasn't a great selection and the food was bland. My chicken however was good, moist and a descent portion. As it was served with only couscous ( there were some chick peas and raisins) it was dry to the palate and needed some sort of liquid to make it easier to eat. Glad the other restaurants turned us away for not having a reservation.... Otherwise we wouldn't have found this gem! The owner was a delight and chatted with every table (even if we couldn't understand a word he was saying 😅). The mixed plates can easily feed two people....
