McDonald’s — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I recently visited the McDonald’s drive-thru and had a great experience that exceeded my expectations. As someone who frequently grabs food on the go, I appreciate fast and efficient service, and McDonald’s delivered just that.

The drive-thru line was relatively short, even during a busy lunch hour, and I was impressed by how quickly the staff handled the orders. The menu was well-displayed, with a good selection of classic McDonald’s items, making it easy to decide. I ordered a Big Mac meal with fries and a Coke, and the entire process, from placing my order to picking up my food, was smooth and efficient.

The food was hot, fresh, and consistent with what I expect from McDonald’s. The Big Mac had all the familiar flavors that I enjoy, and the fries were crispy and perfectly salted. My Coke was served chilled, and the overall meal hit the spot, especially for a quick bite.

One thing I noticed was how friendly and professional the staff were, despite the constant flow of cars. They ensured my order was correct and even added a few extra napkins without me asking.

I'm only writing this review to warn fellow East Point Mall visitors to avoid this McDonald's like the plague. The service is utterly horrendous - I waited over 20 minutes for my order and the place was scarcely filled. Why? The staff are so clearly untrained and the manager uncaring. Order numbers are called as "Ready" but there's no food on the waiting line. Staff designated to assign the readied food to trays or takeaway bags all just congregate by the monitors doing nothing. Multiple customers have come up to the counter to ask about their order only to be waved away or asked to wait. Food Is totally McDonalds type but the service is bad especially for a foreigner like me.

I ordered no.45 I waited so long. Not only did the cashier changed registers to serve a Georgian, she didnt come back to my lane nor did she tell me to switch lanes.

My friend went to that lane and she took her order. SMH

My friend asked the cashier that she would follow up another order and thats my order (she asked me what I wanted in our native language).

The worst part was waiting.
