Very contrary to many of the reviews I found the service to be very pleasant. They were polite, attentive and came often to our table to check on us. The restaurant itself is also simple but very clean and OK when it comes to ambiance. For the location it is quite good in comparison to what you’d often find. Even the bathrooms were very clean and smelled pleasant. Unfortunately the pizza is not the best. There is very little to find in terms of good pizza in the Ahrensburg area. La Casetta falls in line with what you get at other places nearby. Very average pizza at best without a crunchy base nor quality cheese or sauce. We didn’t try any of the other dishes but I presume everything is just average. The prices are fairly moderate so I would say all in all it’s a solid 3 stars for where it is location wise and in comparison to everything else similar in the area. Extremely well hidden out on the edge of Ahrensburg 😉 I stumbled across this place while out tackling a huge Mountainbike trail on my electric unicycle. I rode by & asked if they were already open (it looked like they were just setting up) and they guy said sure!, so I pulled in and immediately ordered a coffee. Seeing the daily specials menu and it being 1 o'clock and all, I was like why not? I ordered truffle filled gnocchi with a truffle cream sauce. It was delicious! If they're looking for a suggestion, I'd maybe cut back on the truffles some (less is more), but I won't knock them for it. The place was very clean, staff was friendly and very attentive. Das La Casetta ist ein kleines aber feines Restaurant mit italienischer Küche, im Westen Ahrensburgs. Der Inhaber, wie auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Egal, was ich hier gegessen habe, es war immer super. Schmackhaft und frisch. Ob Pizza, die megalecker ist, selbst für mich, als nicht unbedingt Pizzasüchtige, oder Fleisch, - Steak perfekt medium gegart, - Salat knackfrisch, mit leckerem Dressing, Pasta in Gorgonzolasosse- ein Gedicht! etc. Das war jetzt das "Normale"

Silvester haben wir dort ein Sivestermenü gegessen. Zur Auswahl stand ein Fleisch- oder Fischmenü. 4 Gänge.

Fleischmenü: Rindercarpaccio mit dünn gehobelten frischen Champignons und frisch gehobeltem Parmesan. Spaghetti mit frischer Wintertrüffelsosse und darüber gehobelten frischen Trüffelscheibchen. Rinderfilet (ca. 150 g) mit Maronensosse und Gemüsebeilage Panacotta ( die beste, die ich je gegessen habe!!!) und marinierte Früchte.

Oder Fischmenü: Lachscarpaccio mit Rucola Spaghetti mit Flusskrebsen in einer zarten Krebssosse. Seeteufelmedallions mit einer leckeren Sosse und Gemüsebeilage. Zitronensorbet auf Ananascarpaccio.

Und es war kein Problem, einzelne Gänge aus Fleisch und Fisch zu tauschen!

Beide Menüs waren mehr als yummy! Lecker! Lecker! Lecker! Frisch und alles auf den Punkt gegart. Bei sehr hohem Materialeinsatz war es für uns sehr günstig. 37.-€ (Mein Schwager, seines Zeichens Küchenmeister ( Koch- Meister), schätzte dieses Menü auf 60 €.)
