Badhaus — Restaurant in Bad Griesbach i.Rottal

Decent food w/ okay prices. Nice management behind bar and decent staff…. I had wanted to come here for 5 years and finally had the chance for a friend’s birthday. Spent €70 + tip on a double burger, fries, 6 wine Schorle, 3 weiß beer. Really decent prices considering. My grief is when I asked for Leitungswasser (tap water) they said no problem and then half hour later proceeded to try and charge me 3.80€ extra for water, at which point they said they don’t do that(in reference to tap water).

Any Restraunt that continues to try and pull this past its patrons should be called out for attempted thievery. Most Germans are too polite to say anything as confrontation is against their manors at restaurants. So this behavior continues to be rampant.

I cannot abide by this as it is completely ridiculous.

After asking the management (politely) why this happened, they said it shouldn’t. *After I left, the management instructed the waitress to return the money to my wife. ( I was already outside as I get frustrated by this continued behavior in Germany and need to leave to not make a scene)

I still recommend this place for a meal or party. It’s a nice place. But definitely be aware if you ask for tap water (Leitungswasser) they may charge you €3.80 without saying anything. Do not...

haben heute das erste mal dort bestellt. Ich muss ehrlich zugeben, meine bzw unsere Erwartungen waren um einiges, einiges höher. Ich fahre täglich am Badhaus vorbei, immer sehr gut besetzt, alles voll. Spricht meiner Meinung nach für ein gut laufendes Restaurant in dem es sehr gut schmecken muss. Die Bewertungen hier sind ebenfalls sehr positiv, wenige negativ. Wir bestellten 2 Burger (Manhatten NY Burger mit Pommes & Südstaatenburger mit Süßkartoffelpommes) zum selbstabholen. Wohlgemerkt, ich wohne 1min mit dem Auto weg.

Für dem Manhatten bekamen wir ohne Probleme statt einem Rinderpatty ein Hähnchenpatty, auf Wunsch. Ebenfalls wünschten wir den Manhattenburger ohne Speck. In 15min konnten wir abholen. Nach Punkt 15min angekommen, stand unser Essen bereits auf der Theke, wir bezahlten sofort 29€ und fuhren sofort nach Hause (wie oben beschrieben 1min Autofahrt, wenn überhaupt)

Angekommen, Burger ausgepackt. Burger lauwarm, der Manhatten MIT Speck obwohl ohne gewünscht, das Hähnchenpatty wurde umgesetzt. Beim Südstaatenburger war das untere Brotbun so durchgesifft, dass man den Burger kaum aus der Box bekam. Die Pommes waren absolut matschig und die Dips so fest, dass man die Pommes nicht mal darin eintauchen konnte. Wäre an sich kein Problem wenn die Pommes etwas knackiger gewesen wären.

Fazit: würde ich nicht nur 1min weg wohnen, hätte ich mir nie einen Burger bestellt, weil ich weiß das es durchweicht. Da ich aber nicht weit habe, sollte der Burger das aushalten. Für 29€ absolut unverschämt und nicht gerechtfertigt. Da empfehle ich weitaus, wirklich bei weitem bessere Restaurants in Bad Griesbach. Dort hätten wir für 30€ weitaus besser essen können und vorallem auch mehr für unser Geld bekommen.

Schade, sehr enttäuscht und es wird für uns kein 2. Mal geben. Tut mir Leid, aber wenn ich bewerte dann ehrlich...

A cozy little restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. The pizza is fantastic and is well made. The crust is crisp and holds up with and the pizza has a generous amount of toppings. Pizzas were around 10-14 € and burgers were between 10-18 €. We ordered 2 pizzas with 3 beers and our total came to around 40 € not bad for a nice night out with good...
