I've lived in Berlin for three years and going to La Piazza is always a true pleasure whether it be for a simple ice cream cone with the kiddies or for a romantic sit-down lunch with my hubby or for a larger gathering with friends. Hands down the best Italian gelato in Berlin. Extensive flavor selection and also fresh made in-house. Definitely worth the commute all the way to Schlachtensee. The staff is always incredibly nice and the atmosphere is always pleasant and super relaxed. Feels almost like being at the seaside, but without the sea, though the flavors of the gelato definitely take you there.
