Grünau Döner — Restaurant in Berlin

This place is beyond wonderful! I went here with my wife while on our way home from importing goods and the cashier was extremely nice and helpful and worked fast! It did not matter we were later on in the evening. The food is just absolutely stunning! I had the döner box and the salad is super fresh, the beef is some of the best I have had, and the portion size was just right for a 22 year old man. All for 6.80 Eur. My wife had a dürüm döner and the portion was massive! The garlic sauce was great and the salad and beef were exactly as good as they were in my box! Again, for just 6.80 Eur!!! Neben Currywurst muss man in Berlin auch Döner essen. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen habe ich heute den Grünau Döner und Pizza besucht.

Bestellt habe ich einen Döner Teller. Man kann zwischen Hähnchen und Rindfleisch Döner als Hackfleisch Döner wählen. Da ich ja kein Hühnerfleisch esse gab es Hack.

Die Pommes wurden frisch frittiert. Der Salat wurde gut angemacht mit Gewürzen und Granatapfel Sirup.

Es gibt 4 Soßen zur Auswahl: Scharf, Knoblauch, Kräuter und Joghurt.

Service sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente allerdings sehr einfach, wenige Sitzplätze.

Das Fleisch wird mit einem Nesser runter geschnitten. Sehr dünn, so wie es sein soll. Die Rahmenparameter passen schon mal.

Es gab noch ein Missverständnis, da ich vor Ort essen wollte. Pragmatisch wurde der Deckel der Styropor Box abgehobelt und dann serviert.

Der Salat war ausgezeichnet. Frisch, toll gewürzt und wirklich lecker. Die Pommes waren kross und knackig - so sollte es sein. Die Saucen - ich hatte Knoblauch und Scharfe Soße bestellt - waren gut, aber zu wenig. 2 Kleckse sind für jemanden der im Schwäbischen lebt und der es gewohnt ist dass das Essen in der Soße schwimmt zu wenig.

Enttäuscht war ich etwas vom Geschmack des Fleisches. Es war saftig, aber fad im Geschmack. Das Fleisch war knusprig, aber die Röstaromen fehlten genauso wie Gewürze.

Portion insgesamt durchschnittlich, aber der Preis mit 9,50€ war mehr als fair.

Mein Fazit: Hier kann man hin gehen. Service gut und freundlich, nicht der beste Döner aber guter Durchschnitt bei gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
