If you’re expecting good Peking duck, I wouldn’t recommend this place — I was quite disappointed. If you’re curious about Chinese cuisine in general, this might not be the best introduction either :| The dishes didn’t taste authentic and were overwhelmingly greasy — to the point where it felt like an attack on my health. What really stood out, though, was the long wait: we waited nearly an hour and a half for our first dish. I’ve been to Hong Kong canteen a few times and have always been quite impressed with their cooking and service. From my understanding it’s co-owned between a few people from different regions of China and they have dishes from Hunan, Sichuan and Guangdong on the menu. It’s also one of the few places in Berlin that serves authentic Cantonese roast duck and pork.

Our first time at the restaurant tonight and it was fantastic! Went with 4 adults and two children, ordered dim sum and 6 entrees and we finished everything. Best Chinese we’ve had in the neighborhood- will definitely be our GO TO spot!
