It's hard to put into words how terrible this experience was really. It's self service, so in theory I would find it hard to imagine what could even possibly be bad about that. But be prepared to watch the most inefficient and rude and unfriendly self service ever. The main person handling the cashier seemed overwhelmed and was noticeably slow, causing visible frustration among customers. Even though there were in total three guys behind the counter and lots more in the back rooms/kitchen, they had a throughout of about 1 customer every 3-4 minutes. Meaning we waited close to half an hour in line to get a coffee. Same as all other people in line just got a piece of cake and coffee.

It is the most beautiful beer garden in berlin. I don't know why the rating is so low here. But actually, they do renew last year, and now even have an area of beach sand. super cool! Die Preise (€21–€40 pro Person) stehen in keiner Relation zur Qualität . Mein "hausgemachter" Kartoffelsalat schmeckte wie aus der Industriepackung – labbrig und übersäuert – und der überteuerte Burger bestand aus einem verbrannten Patty mit matschigem Brötchen . Für 18€! Portionsgrößen? Lächerlich klein – selbst ein Spatz wäre hungrig geblieben.

Service: Eine Beleidigung für die Gastronomie Bis auf einen netten Herrn im Biergarten, der trotz Überlastung lächelnd Getränke zubereitet, war das Personal eine Katastrophe: Unfreundliche Blicke, genervte Antworten auf einfache Fragen ("Ist da Basilikum in der Soße?" – "Keine Ahnung!") und schmutzige Tische, die ewig nicht abgeräumt wurden . Als ich nach fehlendem Besteck fragte, hieß es nur: "Selbstbedienung steht am Eingang." – Toll, wo?

Der erwähnte nette Mann im Biergarten verdient eine Sondererwähnung. Er entschuldigte sich für das Chaos, brachte unaufgefordert Wasser für unsere Kinder und wirkte, als kämpfe er allein gegen das Unvermögen des Teams. Ihm allein verdanken wir einen halben erträglichen Moment .

Fazit: Finger weg – außer man liebt Frustration Wenn ihr euch überteuertes Kantinenessen, desinteressiertes Personal und chaotische Abläufe wünscht – hier werdet ihr glücklich.
