L'Osteria Berlin Mahlsdorf — Restaurant in Berlin

This place was such a disappointment... as a loyal customer of the branch, my experience in this one was terrible. After arriving, it took almost 20m for someone come and take our order. We arrived there around 7:30pm and just wanted to have dinner with our little daughter and go home. After some time the waitress came and offered a paper and pencils for our 2 years old daughter to draw, and in this paper it shows kids offers, so we decided to ask gnocchi for her. It came quite fast (like max 15m after ordering). We found weird that ours didn't come, as it had been ordered already since 20-25m earlier. After 1h waiting in the place and seeing people that arrived later than us and in more quantity receiving their pizzas, we got really upset and asked about it. The waitress went to check and came to us to tell our order (a pizza and a pasta carbonara) was going to the oven soon 😖. We waited 10 more minutes and called her to cancel as our daughter was already in her limit to sleep and we would definitely not be able to have our meals there. She called the manager who came to us to tell that the order was already done so we could pack or eat there. We decided to take away and eat home as our night was already ruined. We paid the full amount even if our drinks were already warm and were not drinkable anymore. Honestly, my advice to the administration is that next time you forget to order the food of a customer in time, make it the next priority! And secondly, don't charge something, it's better to lose 50euros once due to your own fault, than losing a loyal customer. It's really disappointing, as the place...

Wir waren gestern gegen 14:30 Uhr zu 3 dort, da ich vor 3 Wochen in Leipzig derart lecker speiste, und wolle das Erlebnis mit meinen Geschäftskunden teilen. Nach dem wir fast 10 Minuten am Eingang warten mussten, bis uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde, der die ganze Zeit schon frei war, wurde dieser auch abgeräumt. Die anderen nicht besuchten Tische wurden auch immer erst beeäumt, wenn Gäte kamen. Vorher gingen die Kellner mit ihrem leeren Tablett mehrfach ihnen vorbei, ohne ihnen Beachtung zu schenken. Verstehen wir nicht aber ok. Sieht sehr chaotisch aus, und mach kein besonderes einladenden Eindruck. Nach der Platzierung wurden unsere Getränke aufgenommen und es wurde uns auch gleich mitgeteilt, dass unser Essen ca. 45 Minuten dauern würde, da das Personal nur zu dritt wäre. Eigenartig war nur, das in der Küche 2 und im Service 3 Mitarbeiter waren....egal. Unsere Getränke kamen dann auch schon nach weiteren 30 Minuten. Die Cola musste ich zurückgeben, da sich dort leider keine Kohlensäure mehr drinnen befand. Die Kellnerin meinte nur,"da ist keine Kohlensäure drin, richtig?", und fügte noch hinzu, das das ein bekanntes Problem sei. Ich könne ja was anderes nehmen. Bei der Bitte, doch eine neue Flasche zu öffnen, meinte sie nur "wir haben keine Flaschen, sonder ein Getränkespender". Ich war / bin doch etwas schockiert muss ich offen gestehen, da ich das in einem Restaurant nicht erwartet habe. Über Fastfood brauchen wir nicht reden, da rechnet man damit. Gut, also nix zu trinken. Ähnlich verhielt es sich übrigens auch mit einer von uns bestellten Apfelschorle....war dann nur verdünnt er Apfelsaft. Die Zeit verging, und es kann immer mehr Personal ins Restaurant, hingegen wurden es immer weniger Gäste. An der Situation, das die Gäste erst einmal an der Tür warten mussten und deren Tische(aber auch nur diese Tische) dann erst gesäubert wurden änderte sich nichts. Scheinbar ist das in dieser Filiale so üblich. In Leipzig nicht. So, das Essen kam, dann auch nach weiteren 30 Minuten (also eine Stunde Wartezeit) und war gut. Einzig, die Carbona war noch etwas flüssig, was aber mit etwas mehr Käse vom Gast behoben werden konnte. Als wir fertig waren mit dem Speisen, wollten wir gerne bezahlen....ging aber nicht, da wieder weniger Personal da war, und das vorhandene Personal unter Winken ignorierte. Das ging wirklich 20 Minuten lang. Ich ging dann zum Kellner um die Rechnung zu ordern...."ja, bring ick, wo sitzt ihr denn? Ich wollte mit Karte bezahlen und wurde gleich auf die verschiedenen im Gerät befindlichen Trinkgeld-Optionen hingewiesen. Ich sagte, das wir das heute mal ohne Trinkgeld machen, da das ein nicht ganz so gelungener Restaurantbesuch war.....Reaktion: Null. Nachdem wir das Restaurant verlassen haben, ging es einem Mittgast, dem mit der Carbonara nach 20 Minuten dann so im Bauch herum, daß 3 Toilettengänge folgten. Fazit, ein Wiedersehen in Mahlsdorf wird es von nicht geben. Hingegen die Filiale in Leipzig werden wir auf jeden Fall noch einmal besuchen. In Leipzig war alles super, das Personal war mega freundlich und das Essen kam schnell ohne Mängel und es ging nach dem Essen allen Mitgästen...

On our way home, we realized that it's getting late, so to save time on cooking, we decided to stop by this restaurant ( 19 p.m.). The first impression was nice. The interior is well made with several good stylish ideas, we received pencils and a painting paper sheet for our son. Our order was taking fast, but then it was a disaster. We waited for 1 pizza, divided into two halfs (sea food and other with meet) for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Seriously, I never in my life waited so long for a pizza. I was completely disappointed, cause it was just the last evening before my labor day, pregnant women can get very annoyed when hungry, and for our 3 years old son food arrived so late that he already did not want to eat it. Apart of that it was already low warm, like it was ready 15 minutes before, but it was brought too late. And cut in a way, that each of us gets both seafood and meat part and I don't eat any meat, but this detail is the peanut in compare to waiting time.
