La Terrazza — Restaurant in Berlin

My wife was talking about this restaurant while we were on vacation and since we returned she decided we must go. Disclaimer: due to dietary restrictions my options are a tad limited here, so my food critique should be taken with caution. They offer a dish with the hot pasta swirled in a wheel of Parmesan, and flakes of black truffle. Both her and her mum had this and said it was excellent, my son went for the pesto tagliatelle & focaccia. He enjoyed the focaccia but the pesto was rather tasteless, as it was one of the few dishes I could also eat I had to concur with him on this. I had a tuna salad, with a balsamic dressing. It too was rather tasteless (my taste buds are use to spicy Asian food, so this is just my perception). Service was top notch even with all the rather full tables outside, and it was their first day open after being closed for vacation the past weeks. My personal favorite Italian restaurant in Berlin, somehow hidden in Köllnische Heide, which makes it not touristic and adds more authenticity to the place! All the workers there are Italians and try to give out the best Italian experience you can have! Anti pasti, Pizza, Pasta, main dishes, deserts, everything very delicious and at a reasonable price. My favorite part about this restaurant is its outdoor garden terrace! In good summer days, try to go around a sunset and the atmosphere feels very romantic! There is a super special friendly waiter there, who always sings and is super energetic, always make sure that the customers are satisfied, and having a good experience! There's so much to love about this place. From the food to the vibes, everything was just perfect.

I had the best chicken & mushroom risotto here. My friends had the pesto spaghetti & penne arabiata, they both really enjoyed it as well.

The bread & olives that they'll serve you at the beginning are also of the best quality.

It's a huge restaurant with authentic Italian town vibes. They've got many tables both inside & outside.

The staff is extremely jolly, they'll smile and have a good laugh while greeting & interacting with you.
