Papadam Indisches Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin

This restaurant has a nice ambience and good bowling alley and some good starters like pakodas but that's about it . After today's dinner ( some dishes were ok and some were very sub standard in my opinion but I do agree the aloo Gobi was edible ) , when I was walking out ...I was interested in hosting a gathering and hence asked the gentleman in the front of the house about a reservation for 25 people. Out of nowhere he jumped the gun and asked if we were all Indian's and when I responded yes, he went on his discrimination rant, generalising all Indian guests as rude and unruly and about their behaviour and then the funny part is he says he doesn't care about money and doesn't do this for the money then I wonder why he is running a food business instead of a charity . Nonetheless I do understand that he has had a few bad experiences with Indian customers from what he said but he tried going on generalising all Indians ( that's how I was made to feel ) as the same and made me feel very unwelcomed. I feel you reflecting your experiences from other guests on me is unfair and not professional, these are some basics you should know when you boast about being in the food business for 14 years but unfortunately you lack professionalism in every aspect.

Also Mr. I know this is Germany and don't need a geography lesson , rather enroll in to intercultural communication training and learn to be professional and rather than accuse of every guest of a particular ethnicity because of your previous experiences which is very uncalled for . Ordered some food through lieferando last night, waited for like 80 mins, still didn't get the food. So the next day, I went to this restaurant asking for an explanation, turned out the deliveryman gave my food to the wrong person, well I could let it slide since it's only 20 euro, but the manager's behavior is just unbelievably rude, I've never seen or experienced this kinda service in Tokyo, so I was just simply shocked by the fact that this kinda restaurant exactly exists in Berlin. That's not even the worst, when I was trying to ask for refund, the manager insulted me saying" stop barking like a dog". Im a costumer and I paid for my food. Yet I still got treated like this, the manager even threatened to call the police on me. I'm still shaking while writing this review. This is outrageous. No refund, no food, not even an apology. Worst of the worst. So we just ate here, we were a group of 4 and all of our order was vegetarian. As much disappointed as i am with the food, i am equally disappointed with the google rating of 4.7, wondering how did they manage to get there?. Perhaps just for the ambiance, which is thoughtfully done, but thats all. The food was far from authentic and so was the service. The food arrived more than 1 hour after ordering and upon asking why we were not told that the food might be delayed, the waiter said, well you see we are full so.... that was unprofessional and unpleasant, however it paved the way for 0 tip. None of dishes tatsed any good, the quality of food was substandard and poorly prepared. The nan bread was definelty frozen ones (as against the tadoor baked we were assured). I highly doubt that the cook is familiar with the indian kitchen. I am a food lover and nothing brings more disappointment in a day than bad food, top it with bad service and you got my goats.
