In summary, a tourist trap you should avoid.

Very strange vibe the waiters had, a lot of passive-aggressiveness throughout the evening. We didn't feel comfortable there despite the good expectations we had.

Food was at best okay, but the secret ingredient, an entire gorgonzola package in the middle of the penne sauce, was certainly questionable. There was no apology or discount even though we could not eat the dish after finding it. I'm sure it's not something you'd expect to get in a 10€ pasta. Pretty disappointing. The bruschetta was simply a toast with some raw diced tomato and onion. The risotto marinatta I asked to be made without garlic and it seemed that they put extra just to tease us.

I have no idea if they tried to deliver us bad service on purpose or by mistake, but we were speaking German to them so I guess it should be even worse if you are...

A very nice Italian restaurant in Berlin. Visisted it on Monday evening. The place was crowded and we took the last table available in the inside area as it was quite cold to seat in the outside area. It took quite some time till the waiter approached us. Apparently, they don't speak any English. It took more time till we get our dishes. Spaghetti Bolognese was not warmed enough. The pasta was too Al Dante and amount of meat was just funny. Other dishes were OK. I am sure the experience can be much better as the place is...

Besuch im Juli '22: es tut mir unglaublich leid diese Bewertung zu schreiben, aber der letzte Besuch war eine völlig Katastrophe. Es war sehr voll, was natürlich an einem Wochenende im Sommer nicht ungewöhnlich ist, das zeigt ja eigentlich dass das Restaurant gut ist. Die Keller waren aber von Anfang an gestresst und dadurch etwas unfreundlich. Das Essen war im Vergleich zum letzten Mal nicht wieder zu erkennen, vielleicht war der noch im Urlaub. Außerdem hatte ich einen kleinen Orangensaft bestellt, es kam ein großer. im Glas schwammen kleine weiße Partikel, wie wenn man den Saft nicht richtig schüttelt, ist nicht schön aber okay. Nachdem ich dann 3/4 vom Saft getrunken habe und den Glasboden sehen konnte, wusste ich nicht mehr ob es tatsächlich Ablagerungen von Saft waren wie darin geschwommen sind, denn der Boden war von Schimmel bedeckt... zum Glück von außen. Als ich dann zum Kellern etwas sagen wollte beim abräumen / bezahlen war er schneller weg als man gucken konnte. Wir werden hier wohl nicht mehr essen. Fazit *

Besuch im März '22: Sehr leckeres Essen, super netter Keller und auch die Atmosphäre ist wie immer super gewesen. Was etwas besser sein könnte war die Vorspeise und das Kinderessen, das Brot vom Bruschetta war leider etwas hart und das Schnitzel war sehr dünn und an manchen Stelle war gefühlt nur Panade vorhanden. Das sollte dringend verbessert...
