Because demonstration let the public transportation be a bit hard to transfer. At that time, around 3:30pm, I was waiting a bus for 20 min in a snowy day. A lot of shops were closed, so I decided to go this "restaurant with cafe/cocktailbar". It was well decorated both outside and inside.
There are still plenty of free tables, but a waiter told me to go to a side which with a small table and only 1 chair and with a bit narrow space. I think it was ok because I won't stay too long.
I've already had my lunch and just want something small to warm me up, so I order a bowl of soup. I said, "nur das. Das ist alles". Maybe I forgot to said "bitte", when I want to pay, a waiter said their minimum preis to pay is 10 EUR. Then I ordered another drink.
It doesn't show on thier menu, website or anywhere else. I'm new to Germany and Berlin, but I'm not new in Europe. I want to be kind to those waiters, because they work hard and nice, even on the holiday.
In the end, I didn't order over 10 EUR, but a waiter was going to find me changes, which means there is no this rule in this "restaurant with cafe/cocktailbar". I made it 10EUR... I'm not a rich person; I do a lot of voluntary jobs for NPOs; I'm unemployed and with several chronic health problems; overall, it doesn't mean I'm poor. I hope the rest of the fee can go into those employees' pockets.
8.3 is an international women's day. Gender equality is important to everyone. 1 star is only for those 2 waiters and cook(s) who work hard...

Yogi-Haus is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to — not just in Berlin, but anywhere! The food is bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. Every dish tastes homemade with a touch of love — from the buttery naan to the rich, aromatic curries.

If you’re in Berlin and love Indian food (or even if you’ve never tried it before), Yogi-Haus is an absolute must-visit! Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back again and...
Read moreI have had a long-standing & warm relationship with Yogi Haus, as my husband and I live nearby and go there very often (this is our neighborhood go-to restaurant when the fridge is empty or we are not in the mood to cook). We get take-out or delivery quite frequently as well, and always discover a little something extra in the box, whether a roti or a bowl of curry, which is a really nice gesture. Vini in particular is always cordial and friendly when we stop by, greeting us like old friends, noting our tastes, and even tossing together a new dish on occasion, when my husband can't decide between paneer and chicken. I've taken lots of guests here, including some fellow Indians, and we give the place and the staff...
