Read moreTl;dr at the end: I happened upon the shop by chance, actually just wanting to pick up a "Biogemüsekiste" (Box with organic vegetables from a near farm) that the owners of Café Frieda kindly keep for the farm customers in their garden. I've walked past the shop many times and noticed the beautiful interior from the outside. The café not only looks chic, it also has a well-stocked cake display. The cakes looked so fantastic that I took two slices home with me (and two of my favorites were smiling at me: "Karotte-Walnuss mit Frischkäse" (carrot walnut with cream cheese topping) and "Stachelbeer-Baiser" (gooseberry meringue). Now I'll have to try all the other cakes. There are vegan options too.
Tl;dr: Very nice interior, super friendly service (patient and well-explained), and the baked goods are beyond delicious. Highly...
