Gasthof Adler — Restaurant in Burgau

In the evening of a somewhat rainy day, I was looking for a B+B or hotel near Burgau.||Gasthof Adler answered the phone, and the contact felt good straight away.||||This is a cafe/restaurant/gasthof, with a very local, comfortable feel about it. And although I am not Schwabisch, I felt right at home.||The motorcycle was parked safely in the farm-building.||Staff is very friendly.||The room was excellent, clean and spacious.||Wifi works, but seemed to work better downstairs.||The Cafe provided an excellent place to sit and have a chat (and a beer).||Breakfast is Good, and you can have it Early, which is nice if you want to ride early.||The grandfather of the house has a nice collection of antique tractors...

Very friendly and responsive host, super easy check-in and checkout. Very clean room. Large parking. Even on days when the restaurant is closed, someone from the Zech family waited on us. We stayed at Gasthof Adler for two nights, one with the restaurant open and - unfortunately - one with the restaurant closed. We chose this accommodation because it has a restaurant and we liked both the food and the beer. 5 stars for the room, 5 stars for the restaurant. Dear Zech family, thank you...
