Für mich eine klare Empfehlung! Zunächst einmal zur Lage: Der Moselgasthof liegt im wunderschönen kleinen Mesenich, einem Winzerdorf mit sehr gutem Wein an der Mosel, direkt an der Hauptstraße mit ausreichend kostenlosen Parkplätzen, dementsprechend auch gut per Auto erreichbar. Das Restaurant ist sehr modern und ansprechend gestaltet, Hirsch-Motive an Stuhl und Sitzbank verzieren die feinen Speisesäle und lassen den schicken Wild-Flair erst richtig zur Geltung kommen. Das Personal war freundlich und flink, besser geht es kaum. Nun zu den Speisen. Wir hatten zunächst eine Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe bestellt. Diese war schön sahnig und perfekt gewürzt. Den Ingwer hatte man auch schön herausgeschmeckt! Als nächstes der Hauptgang, die Jäger-Häppchen. Auf so eine coole Idee muss man erst mal kommen! Ein leckeres, saftiges Rösti, dazwischen feinstes erlesenstes Wildfilet, anschließend eine Birne oben drauf und der überbackene Käse machte den Happen perfekt. Dazu gab es eine Salatgarnitur mit einer unverkennbaren Balsamico-Variation. Zum Nachtisch erfreute ich mich an einer schönen Portion Crème Brulée mit einer schmackhaften Kugel Vanilleeis und einer kleinen aber feinen Beerenauswahl. Gut gesättigt ging ich nach Hause und schreibe diese lange, aber vollkommen notwendige Rezension, da dies einfach mal gesagt werden musste. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Ein epischer...
