We read a lot of mixed reviews of this place so we decided to give them a chance after all. As it was not long after opening, there was still a lot of tables free and service had easy game. The food arrived after a reasonable time. Portion are ok, quality is bit mixed. Some parts of the dishes are really tasty, like the fresh baguette, others like the backed fish are "cheap" version with lots of water inside. On the other plate, everything was ok except the salad seemed to be taken straight out of the water and seasoned with water stretched dressing. But the plate had enough on it that we could live without eating the salad. As the place was getting more crowded, the service started to struggle a bit and also the time between ordering and that the plate was coming out of the kitchen was increasing. This is also mentioned on the menu with the comment that all the dishes are freshly made and some waiting time could occur. We sure will come back for a drink or lunch maybe if the place is not...

Highly recommended after a sea swimming. Ambience, staff, food, bier and location; everything is top notch here. Located right at the sand beach, you can sit with a chilled bier and admire the North sea in front of you. The staff is really polite and friendly, personal recommendations are available if you have problems choosing your food. The biers were just amazing and the food was absolutely yummy. Der Kuchen den wir hatten war vermutlich TK Kuchen und nicht vom Bäcker.

Die Bedienung schien mit dem ca. halb vollen Lokal leicht überfordert / unterbesetzt und es dauerte bis wir bestellen konnten und nach dem Essen bezahlen konnten. Einzig wurde nach der Bestellung Kaffee und Kuchen von einer zweiten Servicekraft schnell serviert.

Dafür waren die Preise relativ hoch und meiner Meinung nach nicht angemessen.

Weiterer Minuspunkt: Am Nachbartisch bestellte eine Seniorin einen Senioren-Fisch-Teller mit Rotbarsch und Kartoffelsalat mit einem Glas Wasser. Bevor der Kellner ging fragte die Dame was das Ma kosten würde. Die Antwort: 15,90€. Die Dame hatte aber nur 15€ mit und musste auf das Glas Wasser (für 3€) verzichten. Der Teller den die Dame dann bekam hatte die Größe einer Kinderportion.

12,90€ für eine sehr kleine Portion ist zu teuer. 3€ für ein Glas stilles Wasser ist zu teuer. Warum hat man hier nicht versucht der Dame entgegen zu kommen und vielleicht ein halbes Glas Wasser oder so angeboten? Man hätte hier eine Lösung finden können wenn man gewollt hätte.

In Summe war dies leider eine ehr nicht so gute Erfahrung.

Gerade der Punkt mit der älteren Dame hat mich eine ganze Weile beschäftigt.
