This is a simple and very reasonable Pension in the centre of Wustrow, handy for the beach, the Bodden, the shops, the bus stop and the harbour (boat trips and ferries available). There are some splendid walks in the area, and Wustrow itself, though very small, is picturesque and worth exploring. ||Staff here are friendly, the rooms are basic - clean, quiet, comfortable and perfectly adequate if you are out all day anyway. No breakfast buffet - breakfast is served individually at your table, with rolls, salads, meat and cheese, eggs if you wish, and a plate of fresh fruit - a great treat. The restaurant is excellent, surely the best in Wustrow, so you are advised to book your evening meal well in advance; they also serve coffee and cake in the afternoon. (If you are in need of a savoury snack, the nearby fish shop is heartily recommended.) So in all, very good...

Für ein verlängertes Wochenende waren wir in dieser kleinen, familiär geführten Pension Gast. Wir wurden von den Eigentümern persönlich begrüßt. Sie haben sich auch rührend um uns gekümmert. So hatten sie uns z.B. an einem Abend das Abendbrot auf das Zimmer gebracht, da im Restaurant eine geschlossene Gesellschaft feierte.||||Die Pension liegt im Ortskern von Wustrow nur ca. 50 m von der Hauptstraße entfernt in einer Seitenstraße. Von der Hauptstraße haben wir aber nichts mitbekommen. Allerdings war jetzt im Winter auch kaum Verkehr bzw. hatten wir das Fenster nicht auf. Zum Strand waren es ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg mit 2 Kleinkindern (könnte man also auch schneller schaffen ;) ). ||||Zu den Zimmern kam man über einen separaten Aufgang im Hof. Das Haus ist sehr schön und farbenfroh hergerichtet, die Zimmer individuell eingerichtet. Wir waren im "Roten Zimmer", das sehr groß war und einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Kirche von Wustrow hatte. Ein schönes großes Bett und ein Bad mit Fußbodenheizung rundeten den Rest wunderbar ab.||||An die Pension ist noch ein hervorragendes Restaurant angeschlossen, in dem der Besitzer selbst Küchenchef ist. Es wird wohl auch im aktuellen Michelin-Führer aufgeführt. Somit sind die Preise auch höher als normal, aber das Essen war den Preis auch Wert. Unbedingt zu empfehlen, selbst wenn man nicht dort übernachtet!||||Am meisten gefiel mir, dass sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Tische im Restaurant mit viel Liebe zum Detail...
