I work with celebrities, looking for a quick off the path place. The pre-test failed horribly. I went in to ask if I could be seated the man was busy. So I went to wash my hands, and go back outside to call my clients to come. But I was rudely interrupted by a man yelling at me I must pay to disinfect my hands during corona. I told the man, ok I pay but purchasing here, no. He said fine go away. On the outside I told the lady worker, she said naturally you have to pay to disinfect hands, use any facility it costs money. Well if they would of respected me, they would have some high quality clients, and made money. No wonder they charge to disinfect your hands and yell, because they don't know the first thing about being nice to customers. These days there are many options this one is off our international clientle list. They won't survive much longer anyway. Will contact the health department on this, as they are supposed to provide disinfection for free...

👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Ich war heute mit meinem Mann und Sohn zur Kirchweih in Dettelbach. Wir wollten uns draußen an einen Tisch setzen und 1 Radler trinken und 2 Bratwürste essen. Im kompletten Aussen Bereich saßen zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur 3 Gäste. Die Besitzerin sagte, Sie dürfe mir die Bratwurst nur TO GO verkaufen und ich dürfe sie nicht am Tisch verspeisen. Auf den Hinweis, dass wir ja auch etwas trinken, reagierte sie schroff und meinte es wäre preislich so kalkuliert und es ginge ums Prinzip. Ich fragt Sie dann noch einmal, ob wir uns hinsetzen dürften, wenn wir nur 1 Radler trinken würden. Das bejahte Sie. Auf meine Antwort, dass es doch eigentlich ziemlich dumm sei, auf Umsatz freiwillig zu verzichten würde Sie recht unfreundlich. Also nochmal, wir dürfen sitzen bleiben um 1 Radler zu trinken. 1 Radler trinken und zusätzlich noch 2 "To go" Bratwürste am Tisch essen, das geht nicht. Absolut unlogisch. Wir sind dann natürlich wieder gegangen. Die vielen, vielen schlechten Bewertungen, insbesondere gegen die unfreundliche Besitzerin kann ich vollkommen nachvollziehen! Da muss man sein Geld nicht lassen. UPDATE : Ihre unfreundlichen, völlig Kompetenzlosen Antworten kann man hier zu Hauf, unter den vielen negativen Bewertungen lesen. Ich soll einen Aufpreis (von dem sie übrigens vor Ort nie gesprochen hatten) zahlen um an einem Tisch ein Radler und 2 Bratwürste essen zu dürfen? Entschuldigen Sie, aber das ist an Lächerlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Ihr Laden war völligst leer. Drinnen saß niemand und draußen nur 3 einsame Gäste. Einzig Ihre Gute Lage, wird Ihnen Umsatz bescheren. Alles andere ist absolut indiskutabel. Und da Sie mir schmollendes Verhalten unterstellen möchten, muss ich Sie enttäuschen.... Das würde implizieren, dass ich traurig oder enttäuscht gewesen wäre. Ich versichere Ihnen, ich war heilfroh mein Geld nicht bei Ihnen...

It looks it won’t be the first time the cafe gets a bad review, so it only confirms that my opinion is not biast. The service and the way owner talks to the customers is extremely miserable and disrespectful. Comments like “ nix Pommes” , “nix lessen” and pointing at the unclear menu are just and evidence for it. Save yourself a good, relaxed day, enjoy your stay in Dettelbach and go somewhere else.
