Restaurant Schloss Eckberg — Restaurant in Dresden

Our dining experience here was truly disappointing. The soups were all so salty they were practically inedible. One dish—the duck—was severely undercooked and tough, while another, the fish, was so overworked that it turned out dry and flavorless. The portions were laughably small, as if they were meant just for decoration. To be fair, the presentation was beautiful, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The quality and taste didn’t come close to justifying the price. I have no idea how this place has such a high rating—maybe they occasionally manage to cook something decent, or perhaps people come just for the ambiance, but it’s certainly not for the food. The menu descriptions were completely misleading; they claimed the meat would be tender, but it was impossible to chew! This dinner ruined our impression of the hotel and our entire stay. Zu unserem Hochzeitstag waren wir mittags im Schloss Eckberg essen. Wir saßen im herrlichen Wintergarten, Aussicht und Ambiente wunderschön. Vom Aperitif bis zum Dessert war alles perfekt. Der Service war exzellent. Mein Highlight war die Vorspeise, zarter Schweinebauch mit Rote Beete Eis, das meines Mannes das Dessert, Crème brûlée. Mir hat vor Allem auch die schöne Parkanlage gefallen, es war herrlich den Restaurantbesuch mit einem Spaziergang...

Wundervolles Ambiente, liebevolle Tischdekoration, Bedienung und Service sind sehr persönlich & herzlich … hier fühle ich mich Willkommen! Dankeschön 🙏 .. das Essen ist überraschend und bis ins kleinste Detail ein Meisterwerk.
