I'm sharing two different experiences, one before the ownership changed and one after.
June 2022- we hosted our wedding dinner here with about 35 guests. The booking process was very good. We called and then made an appointment to come in to discuss the menu. We were given wine to taste and were told of the different menu options. We went for a 4 course meal, only 49€ per guest! It was a ton of food. Tolle Preis-Leistungsverhältnis 😉
Food and drink: Antipasti plate for EACH guest, two tastings of pasta, one main course (fish or beef), and one dessert (choice of tiramisu, chocolate mousse, or Panna Cotta). I can't remember if wine and beer was included in the price or not or an add on to our package. Anything that wasn't wine, beer, or a soft drink was the guests responsibility. I think we had two different wine options, one red and one white. At some point they started serving a sweet wine which was not what we chose, that was a little disappointing. Otherwise the food and drinks were phenomenal!
Service/ambiance: it was a Saturday at 18;30 and the place was PACKED. I was honestly disappointed that they took so many reservations when they knew there was a wedding. We could barely hear each other and it was the end of June and it got uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant with it completely full. We finally asked them to turn on the air conditioner after we realized we couldn't open all the windows. It took a long time to cool down so most people were outside in between courses. It was THAT hot inside. Also we had to wait an hour before getting ANY food. Even bread. That was not acceptable. Probably because they were so full. Otherwise the service was friendly, when they came around.
June 2023- I was surprised to learn that they changed ownership, but the quality of the food has luckily stayed the same. It was absolutely delicious! Service was very friendly and attentive and we had a nice seat outside. I also had some nice prosecco and wine. They unfortunately did not have or know what port wine was, even though it was on the menu. Regardless, it was a lovely time.
Bottom line, I can recommend visiting this place. We had a wonderful wedding celebration here! Definitely try the Antipasto Della Casa and I can very much recommend their fresh...
Read moreI have been in many Italian restaurants, and I have been around the world, however; I have to say, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I had a starter - Carpaccio and as a main a Pizza. It was so good, I could not stop eating. When I was done eating, I ordered a cognac. The owner "Pasquale" personally, served the cognac with dark chocolate, another experience I had not had. When I wanted to pay, "Pasquale" brought 2 special bottles from Italy for me to try. I had a couple of frozen schnapps glasses of each and I am so happy to had a chance to experience this taste. I will try finding those 2 bottles to share with my wife. I highly recommend...
