Exceptional and awarded bakery using local based ingredients, as confirmed on their website. I was there several times recently. The bread and buns really tast different here, more like traditional made / baked. I really notice the difference and like it! Kudos to you master baker. 👍👋 However this point of sale here, is really a pain to shop. The staff seems stuck in a Boomer mindset, no welcome smile, no effort to make me feel happy to come back again at all, just letting me feel they are busy (yes we all are, but...) and that I disturb them. This is my first time in Germany, and I wanted to try some bread. My landlord recommended this bakery to me. I heard that German pretzels are very famous, so I bought one to try. The shop assistant Elly was very friendly and introduced the different options, recommending the one with cheese as the tastiest.

I bought Ochsenaugen, that was delicious. It sweet but not overly so, with a rich and dense filling—really delicious! Enjoying the bread inside the bakery felt cozy...

My favourite place in Gerresheim and not only. Perfect coffee and always fresh buns and croissants. I love whole grain croissants. The ladies are so nice and always smiling. Especially a big thanks to Elly for being always so friendly and outgoing.
