Im April 2025 sind wir für einen Kurztrip nach Ebermannstadt gefahren und haben im Hotel Schwanenbräu drei schöne Nächte verbracht. Abends dann ins Restaurant. Der Service ist erstklassig. Für die verschiedenen Bedienungen, mit denen wir zu tun hatten, hätte ich mir eigentlich eine Krawatte anziehen müssen, um hier die Freundlichkeit und Fürsorge herauszustreichen. Das Essen schmackhaft, die Portionen genau richtig und die Preise, wie man so schön sagt, normal. Für uns etwas Neues, der fränkische Pfefferkarpfen. Um es gleich vorweg zu nehmen: Der hochgelobte Fish and Chips der Engländer ist nichts dagegen.( Letztes Jahr in England in Bristol und Tunbridge Wells auf einer Rundreise erlebt. Das war schon mal anders). Hier zarter Karpfen in einer angenehmen Panade. Die weitere Hotellerie und Restaurants in Ebermannstadt sind sicher auch gut, wir haben aber hauptsächlich die Kulinarik des Schwanen erlebt. Übrigens, ein Lob an die Hotelverantwortlichen: Die Buchungsmaske für die Zimmer ist perfekt, da braucht man kein Booking.com.

Nice cozy stop if waiting for a train in Ebermannsadt. Better breweries in the surroundings but such is the fate of brewing in Franconia. Even really good beer gets four stars. Didn't get a chance to eat but food looked good.

Wir waren über Sylvester einige Tage in Ebermannstadt und haben im Gästehaus übernachtet. Die Halbpension haben wir im Brauereigasthof eingenommen. Die Sylvesterveranstaltung hat ebenfalls im Brauereigasthof stattgefunden. Mit der Verpflegung waren wir sehr zufrieden. Mehrere Gänge haben das Abendbrot bestimmt und es war natürlich auch sehr schmackhaft. Große Portionen haben uns die Tage verschönt. Freundliche Bedienung und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall dort einzukehren. Diese Gaststätte kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Compared with other hotels, the Hotel Schwanenbräu offers a truly excellent kitchen with every effort to provide local food rather than 'regular' items on so many menus.||||Their sauerbraten is both succulent and one of the best examples of this staple of the German kitchen.||||Staying at the hotel is equally enjoyable, light and airy rooms whilst the breakfast is a well presented buffet, we tied the frittata and enjoyed every mouthful.||||Really good value in a nice,...

I stayed at Schwanenbraeu for 11 nights during a business trip to Upper Frankonia. This place is a combined hotel and restaurant and the owner is a jack of all trades as he also brews his own beer and distills his own Schnaps. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
