Hanoi Deli — Restaurant in Erbach

No hygiene standards here. Made us sick. We ate here twice. The first time was for takeout, and the second time we dined in. The takeout food from our first visit tasted decent, but made me a little sick, though not to the point where anything serious happened, so I didn’t think much of it. We also found a long strand of hair in our summer roll.

The second time we ate in their restaurant and immediately felt something was off. The restaurant smelled strange and unsanitary. The food also smelled like the restaurant. We had leftovers so we took them home in takeout containers. After we finished the leftovers the next day, we put the takeout containers in a plastic bag to be taken out for garbage collection day. Two days after, we found MAGGOTS all over the floors and immediately checked all out garbage bins. Our bins were clean but the takeout container bag was full of maggots.

Edit: the reply below states that they never received English customers. We live in Erbach and remember clearly conversing with the male waiter with slightly long hair in the white shirt in ENGLISH. The way the owner just accused us of not knowing the difference between Hamburg and Erbach is...

Wir wollten abends rein und sind aber gleich in der tür rum gedreht und wieder gegangen. um das komplette restaurant aussen rum war es extrem dreckig. der scheiben verschmiert. überall flog müll und irgendwelches zeug draussen rum. alte fahräder ...eimer...tüten....müllsäcke. was man von der küche erahnen könnte schaute auch recht unordentlich aus. nein danke. hier essen wir sicher nichts. es war auch niemand drinnen. schade dass man in bester lage ein restaurant hat und es dann rund rum so unordentlich und so dreckig lässt dass sich dort keiner...

Ich versteh jetzt halt nicht wofür ich so viel Held ausgegeben habe. Eine halbe Portion Nudeln, lieblos zusammengeworfenes Gemüse und das gebratene Hähnchen war halt einfach so KFC-Fried Chicken.

Von Ambiente lässt sich schlichtweg nicht sprechen. Alles etwas unangenehm, es ist sehr hell und wir hätten uns über etwas Musik gefreut.

Der Service war sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, daher 5 Sterne für diesen.

Alles in allem gibt es in Erbach in fußläufig erreichbarer Nähe genug Alternativen, wenn man Lust auf...
