Something is never changing? 5 stars reviews are only from employees? and their friends...? it is a joke.

As in the past the dishes are good and simple, "Sahne" tasty cakes (but far from fantastic…). Anyhow the service is unacceptable, maybe they are too famous to serve the customer?

Waiters and waitresses are terrible they make the service only for the chosen side. Other waiter stands showing the back 20 minutes there and does not look where you are sitting. 3-4 waiters were running up and done 2 other tables were occupied on the floor but only one employee came there to put extra lights (at 12 o’clock, outside total sunny but nothing else). Finally we found a child seat that at least we can be seated. After 30 minutes I asked after the waitress she felt herself offended and when she asked the other waitress discussion was about who serve which table and why they are not responsible for which table…

And just from the nowhere came the waitress to ask from us the menu because it is needed for her colleague… top of the non-sense… but nothing else again disappeared everybody…

...after the other waitress told she will not make the service because it is not her table 45 - 60 minutes later finally arrived somebody (the 6th employee) who finally asked why we are sitting there and what we want...

We ordered in one but the dish for the child was forgotten, again 20 minutes waiting… Anyhow the regular half hour – hour cigarette break was very punctual it was fantastic when the cigarette smoke came in the window and you can see you waitress but not your meal.

Coffee should be something great but not, you can skip it without worries, glasses, cups, plates are damaged and broken…

But they are happy to keep their hand for tip… It is just really disturbing when they do not want to work why the customer must be punished…?, Maybe people can be find who will be glad to have job…?

Downstairs you can buy cake separately. The other chaos, the employee use a small stairs to step up for the higher selves to reach some cakes… would be no problem till she does not do with her gloves to fix the stairs which she use to fully touch the cakes… basically you get “to-go” all the dirt from her shoes with your cake… yeah… and of course you can wait till she serve all the waitress it does not matter that you are waiting there…

Too much fame but not extraordinary. 100% sure you can find better place for you money.

Only if you have enough patience and time for such kinds of employees or you are willing to pay for the fame of the family mythos of the owner...

Recommendation to the owner: Restaurant without any waitress and waiters… self-service from kitchen, customer window… food conveyor belt...? Change the damaged cups and plates! And cleanliness, cleanliness,...

Erst dachte ich kann es lassen, aber meine Erfahrung von heute Mittag möchte ich nun doch nach langer Überlegung teilen:

Vor 1,5 Jahren war ich zuletzt hier und hatte das Café Winklstüberl eigentlich in guter Erinnerung. Heute Mittag habe ich geschäftlich unterwegs zum Mittagessen angehalten. Schnell bestellte ich einen Zwiebelrostbraten (mit Bitte um Medium) von der Tageskarte, einen gemischten Salat und ein Wasser mit Zitrone. Nach kurzer Zeit kam alles zum Tisch (Wasser ohne Zitrone was aber noch das kleinste Übel des Tages war). Nach der ersten Gabel vom Fleisch war klar das es sich definitiv nicht um eine Rinderlende handelte, sondern leider eher eine trockene nur 1cm dicke, fast kalte Schuhsohle. Eher wie ein verbranntes Halsgrat.. Ehrlich gesagt, kann ich mich nicht erinnern dass ich jemals in einem Restaurant etwas in dieser Art anmerken musste und habe es der Kellnerin daher auch direkt gesagt. Nachdem sie mit dem Koch gesprochen hatte, teilte sie mir mit: „das schmecke wie es sein soll…ABER ich könnte wenn es sein muss schon etwas anderes bestellen“. Danke wie gnädig.. es sollte selbstverständlich sein wenn etwas ungenießbares für dieses Budget serviert wird ? Die netten Leute am Nachbartisch konnten mich ebenfalls völlig verstehen und waren von der Reaktion des Personals ebenfalls irritiert. Das Bild des Gerichts spare ich mir hier zu veröffentlichen und die Beilage „Bratkartoffeln“ waren ebenfalls eine in Fett und matschigen Zwiebeln getränkte Frechheit für 22€. Mir wurde ein Wienerschnitzel angeboten welches ich dann in meiner Wut angenommen habe. Dieses war soweit genießbar, aber sehr klein und bis auf die Panade was ja auch nicht üblich ist eher trocken. Da wir in der Vergangenheit schon öfter Kuchen von hier bekommen haben, dachte ich dass es dieser evtl. wieder gut machen kann. Ich fragte die Kellnerin daher, ob es möglich sei, dann bitte alles zusammen zu zahlen was auch schon scheinbar wieder ein Problem war, aber sie nahm sich dann die Zeit um mit mir zur Kuchentheke zu gehen. Dort angekommen wurden wir beide erstmal von einer jungen gestressten Kollegin angefahren: aus dem Weg! Netter Ton, aber jedem das seine und nicht ernst zu nehmen 😂. Zurück angekommen am Platz bat ich dann um eine Rechnung und merkte an, dass ich gerne mit der Karte zahlen möchte. „Das geht hier bei uns auf keinen Fall! Bei uns gibt es keine Kartenzahlung und das wäre doch bekannt, stand sogar in der Zeitung! 😂 Spannend dachte ich mir und wurde zum hauseigenen Geldautomaten im lokal geschickt. Dreister und eindeutiger geht es nichtmehr. Wo bin ich nur gelandet… Ohne dass ich danach fragte, kam eine „Geschäftsführerin“ zu mir an den Tisch und versuchte mir alles zu erklären, aber der Zug war für mich zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon längst abgefahren. Ich bezahlte sogar noch mit einem kleinen Tip und ging zum Auto. Dort angekommen faltete ich meinen Beleg und fand zur Feier des Tages dann noch den legendären Zwiebelrostbraten auf meiner Rechnung. Meine Zeit und Nerven waren mir dann wirklich zu schade nochmals zu diskutieren und ich fuhr zum letzten Mal in meinem Leben vom Restaurantparkplatz weg. Es war einfach zu viel des Guten, was soll man da noch sagen. Arbeiten sie an diesem Feedback, denn dass soll kein neuer Gast morgen...

Very highly recommended for all cake and pastry lovers. It is a paradise of cake. They have so so many varieties, that I was comply amazed and confused for some time; that which cake shall I try. We did try different variations and all of them were absolutely amazing. In my opinion, whatever you choose from the bakery, it will leave you wanting more. 
They do have a restaurant with a beautiful outside seating with German Alps in the background. The food does taste good and the service is also very good. They are nice and friendly people at work. The waiting time is not so much. There is always a place...
