Visiting American, saw reviews and went! Everything was fabulous . Went a little early (5 pm) only because my wife was working down the street and she got off at 430pm . Loved the quiet and the ambiance. One word of advice , they don’t take any Visa , Mastercard or Amex , no worries though , having just come from India and Paris I always have some cash on me ! Many thanks for the great meal !

Nach Feierabend wollten wir unbedingt beim ORIGINAL Italiener essen gehen und haben über Google in der Nähe von unserer Hotel die Pizzeria Mille Lire gefunden. Der Inhaber ein sehr Aufmerksamer Person, hat uns sofort begrüßt und Sitzplätze angeboten, Kalte Getränke serviert. Nach kurzer Zeit hat er und Speisekarte gebracht und Frisch das essen in kurzer Zeit zubereitet und gebracht. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Vorallem es ist alles sehr Sauber. Hier wird Hygiene und Freundlichkeit ganz groß geschrieben, deshalb betreibt der Inhaber Persönlich diesen Pizzeria seit über 40 Jahren selbst. Zum Schluss hätte er uns aber noch ein Grappa aufs Haus ausgeben können. Aber trotzdem waren wir sehr zufrieden und deshalb Empfehle ich zu 100 Prozent weiter. Grazia

Die Salate sind frisch, das Senfdressing überragend und das Olio Piccante hat hier auch seinen Namen verdient, macht es doch der Chef selber. Wir kommen hier sehr gerne hin und Emilio ist ein sehr netter und vor Allem aufmerksamer Gastgeber.

Das Mille Lire ist meine erklärte Lieblingspizzeria, denn hier ist alles stimmig und äußerst lecker. Hier bekommt man eher eine typisch italienische Pizza und nicht diese Pizzen, auf denen man vor lauter Belag und Käse den Teig nicht mehr sehen kann. Die Salate sind frisch, das Senfdressing überragend und das Olio Piccante hat hier auch seinen Namen verdient, macht es doch der Chef selber. My favorite place to eat in Forchheim! I went there on different occasions: after work meet-up with friends, company meeting, birthday. The staff are friendly, pizza is tasty and fast served. Unfortunately, no draft local beer. Sometimes you have to book a table in advance, but usually you get a table without reservation, just like in a pizzeria. In summer they open a small...
