The behavior of the Owner towards Indian customers is very awkward and unfriendly. This has been a repeat affair over a period of 6-9 months now.
The restaurant has support staffs who to the best of my knowledge have not changed since months now, and these staffs while taking order are not sure what they are supposed to do.
For e.g. I went with 2 of my friends and my daughter, and we ordered from the Main Menu (à la carte) 3x Curries, Indian Breads and for all and indian lassi.
Immediately, the Owner was made privy to the discussion, and we were reprimanded that we need to order 4 Curries Minimum, as we were 4 people i.e. 3x Adults and 1x Kid. Reason Unknown? Which later got sorted out, as this concept of Food to People Ratio matters, when one orders from the Day-Menu (Mittagsmenu). And FOI, this is not the first time this confusion was there, and this happened 3 Time in my last 5 visits to this Place.
When asked about Water, the first stereotypic response I get is that we would charge Money for Water, without understanding the requirements and my exact order (Whether I am asking for Tap Water or Bottled Water), and that too with a loud, aggressive and harsh tone, and ensuring other Customer are around and listening to the unpleasant tone from the Owner. This response seldom comes from the Owner to other Customers, who are not of my make and type.
The 3rd most unpleasant experience was when we were discussing with the Support Staff that we would like to change our seats, as it was very bright and sunny outside. Once again, the Owner proactively intruded and started saying, if you Guys want to Eat, Eat or else I have other Customers to do business with. And this was a real harsh behavior that too in front my daughter. Further, epitomized by stating that "I am charging money, because of I am selling food". The Atmosphere becomes utterly unpleasant. Once again, a lot of presumption that makes him treat Customer of my make and type, kind of different than the regular & privileged ones.
Palak Paneer comes with Red Meat, when vegetarian food is being ordered. And loads of excuses and sudden affection starts coming in from the same Owner.
I don't know whether others are facing such issues. But is it normal?
First place, if Support Staffs (Waiter/Waitresses) are there to manage customer orders, why the Owner gets involved at first place for a routine order.
P.S. There are 3 Indian Restaurants in the City Center of Freising, and based on my personal experience and network feedback, this Restaurant is the best when it comes to the Taste of the Food and Varieties.
What is baffling is the Attitude towards "Indian Customers" like me and my friends, who have been a victim of this kind of behaviors for 3 Times over...

We had an issue with one of the staff members. We think that it might have been the owner of the restaurant. He should change the way he works, or seek another job as this is clearly not what he was meant to do.
We ordered a dish and asked if we could have it without some ingredients, they said that they could do that. When we got our meal though, it obviously wasn't what we ordered because it still had (we tasted it and there was no point in denying) what we asked them to remove from the dish. This "owner" wasn't very helpful as he had no idea how customer service works. Instead of getting back the dish and preparing us a new one or, not letting us pay what we didn't eat, he started raising his voice and deny that in our dish there was what we asked them to remove (I want to point out that they said it was ok). On top of this, while yelling at us, he changed the ingredients of the dish multiple times, while trying to explain why the meal still had the taste of what we asked to remove (also he said that in the whole restaurant they didn't have the ingredient we asked not to put in the dish, which is a bit odd because in the menu it said otherwise). Now, fortunately we weren't allergic to what they were supposed to remove, but things might have been different.
The only explanation is that the dish was just heated and wasn't prepared fresh. If I might make a suggestion, next time, just tell your customers that you cannot do any changes to the menu.
Won't be coming back. I hope it was worth...

I had an utterly infuriating experience at Indian village restaurant in Freising. Although the food tastes good, the service was shockingly bad. As a strict vegetarian, I ordered palak paneer but was served palak chicken. When I confronted the server—who brazenly claimed to be the boss—he was incredibly rude, impatient, and dismissive. He argued aggressively, refused to listen, and even had the audacity to tell me to go to the police if I was unhappy with his service.
The server eventually replaced the dish with the correct palak paneer, but his handling of the situation was shockingly rude. His constant tension, impatience, and loud demeanor made the entire experience unbearable. When I mentioned my concerns about a possible allergic reaction to chicken, he sneered, “You’re alive, so why complain?”
Adding insult to injury, the server told me, “If you’re unhappy, just go elsewhere. Don’t come here again, please.” He even dared me to involve the police. Despite the actual boss being polite and apologetic, the server’s unprofessionalism reached a peak when he loudly argued with the boss during our meal, creating a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere.
This restaurant is a complete disaster for vegetarians and a shining example of terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your...
