Update: I didn’t have good experience last two times. First time was good ! There is a weird angry lady, who was really rude last two times. She was also rude when I asked why is she billing me more, she answered in a rude way, if you have increased the price then mention it at the entrance, website or change the price card. Don’t be freaking rude with your customer even if they are Indians. Another thing that is annoying is if you take the order please be patient or ask the customer if they wanna pay immediately or wait until they received the order. Don’t just immediately throw the bill and only after paying your colleague (the lady at the desk) tells the kitchen to make the order. IT’s absolutely rude… NO ONE WANTS YOUR FOOD SND ATTITUDE FOR FREE!!! Will not recommend and never again…Food is way expensive than other restaurants. Overall experience Food: 3/5 (quality dropped since I came here twice) Ambiance: 1/5 ( lady at the desk was rude) Taste: 2/5 Staff: 1/5 Packing: 2/5 Price: 1/5 ( price cards are not up-to date or she tried to scam me, when I asked I am being billed more she said price got increased but it doesn’t make sense to increase price of one thing and keep the rest same, also she answered rudely) Overall: 1/5

Meine Frau und ich haben jede Speise von der Karte schon mehrfach probiert . Chicken Vindaloo ist mein persönlicher absoluter Favorit. Aber um ehrlich zu sein, ist jedes einzelne Essen von "Shimla" Ausnahmslos sehr gut. In weitem Umkreis mit Abstand unserer Meinung nach das Beste indische Essen, garniert mit ausgesprochen guten Service, Freundlichkeit und ausgeprägter Kundenorientierung.
Wir haben vor Corona schon oft vor Ort im Lokal selbst gegessen (momentan Pandemiebedingt leider nur Abholservice verfügbar). Kein einziges Mal -egal ob beim Essen im Restaurant oder beim Abholservice- gab es etwas zu beanstanden. Das Essen wurde immer frisch zubereitet, hat ausgesprochen lecker geschmeckt und war vor allem noch heiß. Der Inhaber selbst ist herzlich, stets freundlich und gibt dem Gast das Gefühl etwas Besonderes zu sein. Auch wenn wir momentan "nur" Essen abholen gibt es jedes Mal freundliche Worte, ein Lächeln und ausgesprochen Schmackhaftes Essen. Für die hervorragende Qualität der Speisen, sind sie wirklich günstig im Preis. Unserer Meinung nach würde die Qualität auch durchaus noch einen etwas höheren Preis rechtfertigen.
Es gibt leider genug Restaurants (eher Lieferdienste) da ist es wirklich eine Frechheit was der Kunde bekommt wenn das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis betrachtet wird. Das ist bei "Shimla" definitiv nicht so. Das gute Essen, der Service, das gesamte Team sind jeden Euro wert bei der Rechnungsbegleichung. Als langjährige Kunden drücken wir "Shimla" weiterhin fest die Daumen das sie es gut durch die schwierige Pandemiezeit schaffen.
Fazit: Vielen vielen Dank an "Shimla", macht weiter so. Wir hoffen es gibt Euch noch sehr lange. Germering wäre...

I got chance of staying in Germering and my craving and Google ended up at Shimla restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice and the service was excellent.
I had lunch and dinner both. I tried Karhai Paneer, Dal Tadka and tea. The food was delicious and cost effective. They serve rice with every dish, honestly those were really khile khile.
