I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with PUNJAB PALACE, Gräfeling. I placed an order via Lieferando and expected a timely and efficient delivery. Unfortunately, the entire process turned into a nightmare. The problems started with a significant delay in the delivery, spanning over 2 hours without any communication from the restaurant or the delivery driver. Concerned about the extended wait, I decided to visit the restaurant to understand what was happening.
Upon arrival, I was met with a shocking level of rudeness from the restaurant staff, who claimed that I hadn't ordered from them but rather from Lieferando. Their attitude and unwillingness to assist only added to the confusion and frustration. It's worth noting that when I called the restaurant after two hours to inquire about the status of my order, the person who answered the phone did not speak English. While I understand that the restaurant is in Germany, I believe that an establishment serving international dishes should strive for inclusivity and clear communication.
I then had the chance to speak with the delivery driver who was present at the restaurant. He confirmed delivering the food but failed to provide any assurance that it was handed to the right person. When I questioned the driver about verifying the recipient, his response was that he didn't have the time for such checks. I couldn't help but think that if the payment method had been on delivery, he would have been more careful but I had already paid via Lieferando.
Unfortunately, I did not receive the food I had paid for. The experience was marked by a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. I hope to get a refund from Lieferando for this ordeal. I share this review in the hope that it will lead to an improvement in PUNJAB PALACE’s operations and customer service. I believe that constructive feedback is essential for businesses to thrive, and I genuinely hope this helps them deliver a better experience to their future customers.

Pleasant level of spiciness in both the Chana Masala and Karahi Paneer.
However there was a huge downer: Both dishes were incredibly sweet, to the point where it was nauseating. Like twice as sweet as any Indian dish I've had in Europe, which says a lot. I don't even want to compare with the authentic food I've had in India.

Read more3 stars because the first time i liked it. But tonight there “order” machine is having problems. So I’ve paid and the food is not being delivered. Twice i have called, “will be there in 30mins” “will be there in 5-10mins” Two hours after expected delivery it has still not arrived! Im not sure if i will ever get it tonight and €30 poorer. Ill change to 1 star if my food actually never comes.
