Restaurant Oriental Gourmet — Restaurant in Gronau

Very delicious and very nicely decorated. With a healthy mix of curves, cubes and a whole bunch of LEDs, this place owns the calm vibes. We tried the all you can eat option and for 21.99€ it was a pretty good one. At the buffet they offers every kind of meat from rabbit to zebra and vegetarian options like fried noodles and spring rolls. The cold buffet, located in the center, offers traditions like sushi and a variety of salads as well as desserts like jelly and two chocolate fountains. Obviously there is much much more but I just wanted to mention a few to give you an idea. As for the staff however I'm a bit disappointed. The staff in the welcoming area were nice but one of the others collecting our silverware and plates every couple of minutes almost startled one of our group members multiple times trying to remove their plate behind their back, not asking, not saying anything at all. The all- you-can-eat Asian buffet lunch or dinner and all- you- can- drink tea, coffee, Cola, apple juice, orange juice, water, located in Gronau- Münsterland Region. Super service and clean and quality of food is great. Huge restaurant but it gets crowded and noisy most of the time. Toilets are clean and they have separate cabins for Men and Women. Came here for lunch- buffet.. so impressed with the beautiful and neat imterior decors. Very pleasant ambience. There are many great choices for foods from appetizers, main courses and desserts. The sushis are freshly made and salads are always fresh. And I warn you to come here hungry and sure you leave happily satisfied. Price is fair.. buffet lunch for 11,50Euro and dinner buffet for 23,90Euro inclusive hot and cold drinks is not bad. Wir haben uns ein verlängertes Wochenende in Gronau/Enschede gegönnt. Am Freitag (02.08.2024) waren wir hier essen.

Das Speisen Angebot war sehr vielseitig. Getränke sind im Preis mit inbegriffen. Die Nachtisch Auswahl mehr als perfekt. Bis auf das Sushi hat es uns soweit geschmeckt. (Der Sushi Reis war zu süss, aber das ist Geschmackssache.) Toll war dass das Sushi frisch vor Ort zubereitet wurde.

Aber warum nur 2 Sterne?

▪️Die Teller waren immer nass. 3 x hatte ich das Pech dass bei den grossen, warmen Tellern noch Sosse und Essensreste drunter klebten. Das finde ich hygienisch bedenklich, weil das ein Zeichen ist dass der Mitarbeiter an der Spülmaschine nicht sauber arbeitet. Es werden unkontrolliert und ohne abzutrocknen mehrere Teller zusammenklebend vom Spülmaschinenband/Korb genommen. (Ja, ich kann das beurteilen weil ich lange genug in der Gastronomie gearbeitet habe)

▪️Das Obstangebot war sensationell. Leider wurde auch da nachlässig gearbeitet. Die Kaktusfeigen waren nicht gewaschen bzw vorbehandelt. Wir waren im Restaurant und noch im Hotel damit beschäftigt die feinen Stacheln der Frucht mit Pinzette zu entfernen. Auf der Toilette waren 2 kleine Kinder am weinen weil auch ihre Hände komplett voller Stacheln waren.

▪️Sehr störend fand ich die Abräumsituation vom Leergut. Auf einem Kantinenwagen wurde laut klirrend eingesammelt. Und jetzt wird es ekelig. Die Tische neben uns waren mit mehreren Personen besetzt. Als diese dann aufgestanden sind, kam der Klapperwagen wieder zum Einsatz. Die Mülltrennung fand direkt neben uns statt. Ich konnte in die Plastikschalen, neben mir!! reinschauen, weil der Wagen mit Kontakt Tischkante , im Gang stand. Laut kratzend wurden dort die Essensreste mit dem Besteck reingeklatscht.

Schade, wir werden aufgrund dieser Erlebnisse nicht wiederkommen. Zumal sich die Gäste wohl dem Ambiente angepasst haben. Die Süsswaren werden, wie auf einer Party, ohne Zange mit den frisch abgeleckten Fingern auf den Teller geschaufelt. Nein es waren nicht die Kinder! Das Obst wird laut schmatzend erst mal am Buffet probiert, um sich dann den Teller so voll zu schaufeln bis einiges auf das Buffet fällt. Auch hier sind es wieder Erwachsene die sich völlig...
