Hebelstube — Restaurant in GVV Müllheim-Badenweiler

We spent a night at Alte Post in Müllheim just like a slepover on our return from holidays in Provence. We did not know the hotel nor restaurant. But both - what a great surprise! Dinner at their Hebelstube was a surprising and great experience. As a starter, my wife had a beetroot soup and she was happy. I had absolutely brilliant marinated salmon trout with pumpkin and carrot garnish. My main course - pork loin with Hispi Cabbage and spaetzle was very good, but my wife's simple olive gnocchi with a sauce from grilled pepers and feta cheese with espuma from-who-knows-what? was just amazing... This all accompanied by local wines was really really good. Staff and service - could not be better. Very professional and extremely pleasant, nice and friendly. Restaurant inside is very nice, but I think atmosphere could be a bit better by using less light and adding some quiet music. In a nutshell: We will be very happy...

Obwohl es am Sonntag abend nur die sog. Buffet-Küche gab und daher nicht die volle Auswahl: Sehr schöner Abend, wirklich empfehlenswert, feine Küche, gute offene Weine. Nach unserer Erfahrung eine der besten Adressen in der weiteren Umgebung um Badenweiler.

Lediglich die Bewertung über Google ist aufwendig, hier werden sicherlich Menschen abspringen, weil sie's zu kompliziert finden. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass die "Hebelstube", die man ggf. über das Internet gefunden hat, tatsächlich nicht der Name des Restaurants ist, denn dieses heißt Alte Post. Da fährt man dann mit dem Auto mehrfach um den Block und findet die Hebelstube nicht, so ist es uns gegangen. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat dann nicht verstanden, dass diese Lösung unglücklich ist, wenn man vorher noch nie dort war. Daher sollte dies bei der Reservierung stets genannt werden. Verbesserungswünsche der Kunden sollte man ernst nehmen...
