Café Glotterstüble — Restaurant in GVV St. Peter

Blatant racism and awful service. We arrived before a large local group, but the older server made us wait while she served them first. We were calm at first, but when we saw the Black Forest cake—what we came for—getting finished, we raised it with her. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she kept lying, repeating excuses, and told us to “come tomorrow.”

Seriously? That was our last day in the Black Forest. You expect us to extend our trip for a slice of cake which you denied to us because we are not white??

To the management: take accountability and address the discriminatory behavior of your staff—especially the older lady who clearly treats non-locals as second-class. We felt ignored, disrespected, and deeply...

Don't go if you have small kids: they unfriendly refused to serves a portion of fries for a small kid that has milch allergy (there was nothing else without milch) because the kitchen was closed since 5min. BTW we had as well a month old baby with us and outside it was very cold. I was astonished by how little you can care about families...

Wir waren am Sonntag, 04.03.2019 dort. Es war circa 14:00 Uhr und zu dieser Zeit waren nicht viele Gäste im Cafe.

Hinter der Kuchentheke stand der Chef persönlich. Bei der Frage, um welchen Kuchen es sich handelte bekamen wir die Antwort :

Es war allerdings so, dass die jeweiligen Namensschilder nicht mit den Platzierungen der Kuchenarten überein stimmte. Wir haben trotzdem Kuchen gewählt und Kaffee dazu bestellt. Der Kuchen an sich hat ganz gut geschmeckt, die Portion zum Preis jedoch völlig überteuert.. Die Kaffeeportionen waren auch bescheiden. Offensichtlich wird auch bei der Befüllung an Kaffee gespart.

Die Bedienung war schon älter, aber man hat deutlich erkannt, dass die Frau mit dem Service überfordert war, obwohl nicht viele Gäste im Cafe waren.

Wir saßen im Wintergarten, der eine Modernisierung dringend nötig hat.

Wir sind von dieser Region im Schwarzwald sehr viel besseres gewohnt, und werden das Cafe in keinem Fall...
