Jeder Stern in meiner Bewertung steht für einen Aspekt: Ambiente, Wartezeit, Bedienung, Geschmack, Preis. Am Ende bekommt ihr ein Fazit ob ich es weiter empfehlen würde oder nicht.

Ambiente: kuschelig

Wenn ihr bereits bei Block house wart, werdet ihr hier das gleiche setup wiederfinden, nur deutlich entspannter und gelassener.

Wartezeit: akzeptabel

Zum Zeitpunkt des Eintreffens war das Restaurant bereits gut besucht, die Bedienung kam nach wenigen Minuten um uns die Karten zu überreichen.

Bedienung: gut

Die Bedienung war freundlich, hat nach kurzem schauen auf die Karte die Bestellung aufgenommen. Sie kam auch öfters wieder um nachzufragen, ob wir noch etwas benötigen.

Geschmack: sehr gut

Wir sind an einem Dienstag Abend gekommen, wo im Restaurant der Ribs Day anfängt. Das bedeutet, dass man nach Lust und Laune ( sowie Aufschlag bei Nachschlag ) sich mit Rippen satt essen kann. Dies ist bereits der dritte Besuch und man kann aus verschiedenen Marinaden aussuchen.

Preis: gut

Der Preis ist vollkommen in Ordnung, wir haben für alles 67,60€ gezahlt. Das All you can eat mit 1000g ribs hat 19,90 gekostet, wir hatten danach jeweils eine weitere Portion 500g für 4,50€. Beilagen sind nicht inklusive, wir hatten dieses Mal gebuttertes Mais.

Ambience: cozy

If you've already been to Blick house, you'll find the same setup here, only much more vivid and relaxed.

Waiting time: acceptable

By the time we arrived the restaurant was already well attended, and the waitress came after a few minutes to give us the cards.

Service: good

The service was friendly and took the order after briefly looking at the menu. She also frequently came by to check on us if we need anything.

Taste: very good

We came on a Tuesday evening when Ribs Day begins in the restaurant. This means that you can eat your fill with ribs as the mood takes you (as well as a surcharge for extra serving). This is the third visit and you can choose from different marinades.

Price: good

The price is perfectly fine, we paid € 67.60 for everything. The all you can eat with 1000g ribs cost 19.90, we each also had another 500g portion for 4.50 €. Side dishes are also not included, for us it was buttered corn this...

Food is a sorry excuse for American barbecue, mediocre at best. Super dry definitely not slow cooked, seems like they cook it in the oven and just with a dry rub and squirt bbq sauce on top. Not cooked with care at all. I received undercooked ribs and was told that’s how they are supposed to be. I understand ribs have a red hue, because of the bbq sauce, but should never have bleeding red veins.. would not recommend. We did receive a replacement, but the replacement was soooo DRY and chewy, we had to rip it off the bones with our teeth. Ribs are supposed to slid off the bone and be juicy. Not at this place. Will not be returning. Additionally, spending 30€ for just meat and no sides is a rip off. Even in the US we give you two sides and endless refills. Save your money and your time....

After 3 visits it’s time to write a review: parking lot is small and fills quickly, you’ll need reservations during dinner hours. American style bar & restaurant with great beer on tap and lots of TVs that show current sports events. Service is hit or miss, depending on individual servers. Plenty of food choices, most with meat, such as burgers/ ribs/ chicken wings/ steak/ pizzas. Portions are generous, esp when you choose baked potato dishes. Food arrives hot and well presented. Prices are high! A burger without add-ons is Euro 20-26, add ons are Euro 8-10 … French fries for more than 8 Euros is steep! With a drink it’s at least Euro 40 per person. Alas, the place is packed and popular but we’d choose somewhere different...
