Cafe Heide — Restaurant in Hanau

Stopped by this café for a quick coffee break with five other friends at the end of our weekend trip. While my friends ordered sth to drink, I said I wouldn't get anything because there wasn't much time until my train. The "lady" gave me a face and berated me for not ordering, saying I should be paying for a service since i'm sitting on a chair that belongs to the establishment and I might use their bathroom later. After telling her I'd be leaving in 10 mins to catch my train and that was the reason why I didn't want order, she said she didn't care and didn't want to hear it, and that she needed to make it clear that is not how "they do things here". She also heavily spilled one of my friend's capuccino; the handle and the plate had foam and coffee all over. Literally, THE rudest person I've met working at any food service...

I felt in love with this place 😍. With no doubt, the cosiest café in Hanau. It’s like you’re at home. The place has a soul to it that you feel upon entering. The decoration is so perfect as if you’re in a garden from the wallpaper to the napkins. The owner is so nice friendly and takes time to talk with customers. Great coffee if you’re a coffee lover. Das letzte Mal vor ca. 3 Jahren dort. Zwei ältere Damen haben bedient. Die kleine ältere war super nett und freundlich. Letzte Woche mal wieder da gewesen. Diese andere unverschämte unfreundliche ältere Dame war da. Ich habe Respekt vorm alter und deshalb war ich ruhig. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Auch die Herrschaften am Nebentisch haben nur mit dem Kopf geschüttelt. Eine Dame bei uns konnte nicht richtig Deutsch und hat ganz normal bestellt. Mit bösem Blick sagte die Bedienung geht es auch freundlicher. Diese unfreundliche Person. Falschen Kaffee gebracht. Wir hätten falsch bestellt. Verschüttet hingestellt usw. Der Kuchenteig war auch sehr hart. Nur beim Trinkgeld hatt Sie gelacht. Normal hätte ich nichts geben dürfen. Niemals mehr wieder. Ein Stern für das alt...
