Gästehaus Café Ruff — Restaurant in Happurg (VGem)

This is a beautiful Hotel to stay in, situated high up on a hillside, with outside terrace overlooking a lake and a picture postcard village below. The room was very well fitted out with all the facilities you would expect, the TV had over 200 Channels, including Sky Sports, BBC News and Sky News etc, plus it catered for many other languages. The shower and fittings were excellent and we had a private table for four just outside our door, just in case we wanted to sit outside. The evening meal was fantastic and the very pleasant English speaking "Mein Host" managed to supply us with some rather excellent local bier to help wash...

i stayed at the hotel during a trade fair. The Hotel is in an ending street. Very quiet. The service at the bar/reception was very friendly. The hotel is old and not in the best condition. Many old travelers visit it for cafe and cake in the afternoon. It has really an fantastic view over the village and a lake from breakfast and cafe-room. I had the redecorade room, which was ok for the stay. It was clean, but the rest of the hotel was a old styled labyrinth with many stairs inside and outside. Not even secure...
