We reserved a table the evening before anticipating a rush. The server considerately advised us that a reservation time 30 minutes later might suit us better as 4 or 5 other groups were already sitting for 18:00 and the service might be a bit slow just then. I found that a very thoughtful recommendation, and we took it. In the end I found the service excellent and friendly and not at all slow for being so full. We enjoyed the Grauburgunder und Auxerrois from the wine selection (Weingut Holz Weisbrodt), the Riesling Kräuter soup was fantastic, and our mains were also very good. They have a very nice Pils on tap. They have some nice spots outside, though you are on the main street of the old city and should expect to have a good degree of foot traffic. Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern 3 Nächte in der Ferienwohnung „Am Schlossberg“ verbracht und waren voll und ganz zufrieden! Klare Weiterempfehlung 👍 Alle Räume bieten sehr viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen, sind schick/modern eingerichtet und waren super sauber! Die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet, inkl. Geschirrtuch und Lappen! Ein weiterer Stuhl für unseren Sohn ließ sich problemlos organisieren! In den Betten lässt es sich wunderbar schlafen und es war noch genügend Platz, dass unser Sohn in der Mitte schlafen konnte (haben das Kinderbettdeck für ihn selbst mitgebracht) und unsere Tochter im Beistellbett (auch selbst mitgebracht) daneben! Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wirklich super…sowohl ein Spaziergang zum Schloss, durch die kleinen Gassen und auf die andere Neckar-Seite war von hier mit den Kindern gut machbar! Der Eigentümer Hr. Göttmann war immer sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und gut erreichbar! Leider konnten wir nicht das Restaurant testen, von dem wir so viel gutes gehört hatten, da zu dem Zeitpunkt Betriebsferien waren!
